WWE Monday Night Raw Review: 20/11

Liv Morgan Starts the Show, American Made VS The LWO: Mixed Tag Team Match

Liv Morgan came out with Raquel Rodriguez to start the show as Liv said they hadn’t come alone. This is when Nia Jax, Candice LeRae, and Tiffany Stratton arrived as Nia started a promo before she was interrupted by Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi! Iyo Sky also joined the good guys before Rhea Ripley made a shocking return to set up the War Games Match! The actual promos in this segment weren’t very good, but Rhea’s return was both surprising and also confusing!

American Made’s Chad Gable and Ivy Nile took on The LWO’s Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega in the opening match of the night as all four Superstars looked competitive at different points. This very much felt like a match that American Made had to win, but guess what, they didn’t! See, after a 619 and a Splash, Rey Mysterio pinned Master Gable before Gable fired up The Creed Brothers after the match with some interesting tactics!

Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker VS Sheamus, The Judgment Day VS The War Raiders

The Miz and Karrion Kross were very happy with themselves in a video promo before Gunther told Ludwig Kaiser to go and stand on his own! The World Heavyweight Champion then tried and failed to take out Damian Priest before Bron Breakker put his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Sheamus! This was a good match, probably the best one of the night as both men were showcasing their physical abilities! Interestingly, we didn’t get a proper finish to this one as after multiple near-falls, Ludwig Kaiser arrived and wiped out both Breakker and Sheamus to cause the DQ finish!

Seth “Freakin” Rollins once again told The O.G. Bloodline that he will not team up with Roman Reigns before Dakota Kai talked about how it’s her time to prove why she is a Champion! It was then time for some more Tag Team action as The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio and Carlito took on The War Raiders! Whilst Dominik was able to get in some offense, Erik and Ivar destroyed The JD’s “B Team” as they picked up the win with the War Machine! However, after the match, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh arrived and attacked their Rivals from behind to end the segment standing tall!

Bronson Reed VS Seth “Freakin” Rollins

After a great Bo Dallas promo, Lyra Valkyria hyping herself up, and Xavier Woods being rude to Otis, it was Main Event time as Bronson Reed went one-on-one with Seth “Freakin” Rollins! This was a good match, it got plenty of time, and I liked that Bronson Reed continuously kicked out at 1! Seth Rollins tried all sorts of moves to get his rival down, but THE Colossal One just kept fighting back. There were also appearances from the old and new Bloodlines, and after Solo Sikoa arrived to distract Seth, Reed dropped Rollins with a Death Valley Driver followed by a TSUNAMI to score a pretty massive victory! This was definitely the right result!
