Finn Balor Interrupts Gunther, The Wyatt Sick6 VS The Final Testament and The Miz
Gunther arrived to kick off this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, but he was quickly interrupted by Finn Balor and The Judgment Day! Finn said he will take the World Heavyweight Championship at this weekend's Saturday Night’s Main Event whilst Gunther said he’d lost all respect for Balor after being the Best in the World for “just 1 night”! The Judgment Day then surrounded the ring, only for Damian Priest, but this just created a big brawl which saw Balor stand tall after delivering multiple Coup de Grace’s to both Priest and the World Heavyweight Champion! Interestingly, in a backstage segment afterwards, Adam Pearce told Finn Balor that the World Heavyweight Championship Match this Saturday will now be a Triple Threat which definitely makes it more interesting!

It was then time for the first match of the night as The Wyatt Sick6 took on The Final Testament and The Miz in an 8-Man Tag Team Match! This was alright, it was totally fine, both teams had their moments were they were in control, but it probably wasn’t as good as it should’ve been given how well done this feud has been! We did get a good bit where Nikki Cross came from behind and scared Scarlett, but amazingly, after Paul Ellering made his return to whack Uncle Howdy with some sort of powder thing, Karrion Kross dropped Howdy with the Final Prayer to pick up a rather shocking victory! I was completely stunned by this result, but I’m very happy for Kross!

Liv Morgan VS Dakota Kai, Seth “Freakin” Rollins Promo, Lyra Valkyria VS Ivy Nile VS Zelina Vega: Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament (Round 1), The New Day Arrive
CM Punk had a sit-down interview with Jackie Redmond where he talked about his history with Seth “Freakin” Rollins, saying that as great as Seth is, he did all of those things better! Dakota Kai was then out next as she went one-on-one with the Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan! This was a decent match, there were some good moments in it, and it was also very competitive! However, I do think this was a weird match to book as Liv couldn’t afford to lose whilst King Kota is in the Women’s Intercontinental Title Tournament! Anyway, after Pure Fusion Collective arrived to watch on, this ultimately opened the door for Morgan to pick up the win before PFC and Damage CTRL brawled, with Liv being the one to stand tall after dropped Iyo Sky with an ObLIVion!

Drew McIntyre cut a terrific video promo about how he went home to reevaluate things, only to see Roman Reigns and CM Punk team together at Survivor Series! Drew then said that the fact Sami Zayn and Jey Uso teamed up with them is arguably even worse, and that’s why he’s going to change the present! Cody Rhodes then gave The New Day his thoughts about how they treated Big E last week before Seth “Freakin” Rollins came down to the ring to throw more verbal shots at CM Punk! Seth said that the respect that he had for CM Punk went as soon as Punk ignored him and started to talk trash about the WWE! Rollins also said that he’s better than Punk and that at least he’s Main Evented WrestleMania before Sami Zayn arrived to apologise to Rollins about pointing fingers at him last week! Sami also told Seth that he can handle his issues with CM Punk in any way that he wants before The Visionary left and Zayn announced that he will be facing Drew McIntyre at this weekend’s Saturday Night’s Main Event! As Zayn walked down the aisle, however, he was laid out by The Scottish Psychopath! I thought Seth “Freakin” Rollins’ promo was great, and I have to say, this weekend’s show is absolutely stacked!
Grade: B
It was then time for the second match in the Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament as Lyra Valkyria, Ivy Nile, and Zelina Vega all fought for a spot in the Semi-Finals! This was an okay match, it didn’t seem to gel as much as it should’ve, but I will say that the crowd was into it which was at least a nice change! Despite Zelina’s best efforts, it was Lyra Valkyria who picked up the winning after pinning Ivy Nile with Nightwing, and I definitely think that was the right choice!
Grade: C+
Cathy Kelley tried to interview The New Day backstage, but they were annoyed at her unbiased questions which is why Xavier Woods stole a camera as The New Day headed down to the ring! The crowd fully booed Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods throughout this, barely allowing the former fan favourites to speak, but what I really liked about this was how Kofi and Woods kept saying they didn’t do anything wrong because if they wanted to, they could’ve hit Big E in the back with a steel chair, but they didn’t! That is more great character work from these two, and fair play because the crowd hated them here!
Grade: B
Rhea Ripley VS Raquel Rodriguez: Anything Goes
And in the Main Event of this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley clashed with Raquel Rodriguez in an Anything Goes Match! There were some good weapon shots in here, and I liked Rhea’s creativity to already have put all the weapons into the ring before Raquel had even made her entrance! The two brawled in the crowd to begin with before Rodriguez sent Ripley flying over the announce table, but I will say that this wasn’t as wild as it really could’ve been, I mean, these two have history of going crazy against one another! Anyway, Liv Morgan arrived to do her best to take out The Eradicator, but Iyo Sky showed up to deal with her Rival before Rhea sent Raquel crashing through a table with the Riptide to score the 3! After the match, both Ripley and Sky looked at each other as they both grabbed the Women’s World Championship so that’s another thing to keep an eye on!
