United States Championship: LA Knight VS Ludwig Kaiser
Friday Night SmackDown in Berlin, Germany kicked off with LA Knight cutting a promo as The Megastar wanted to issue an Open Challenge for his United States Championship. The call was answered by none other than Germany’s own Ludwig Kaiser and this led to a pretty decent contest. Kaiser is a terrific technical wrestler, but it was awesome to see the crowd so behind him here! This actually led to Knight getting booed a bit which always feels surreal, but this definetly accomplished it’s job of getting the crowd hot early. In the end, LA Knight scored the win with the BFT to retain his United States Championship!

Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin VS Legado Del Fantasma, Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens Come Face-to-Face, Andrade VS Carmelo Hayes
Nia Jax got her own video package which was good to see before Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin teamed up to take on Legado Del Fantasma. This was a pretty standard Tag Team match, but the crowd were into Baron Corbin so that was pretty fun. Santos Escobar had also made it crystal clear that Legado needed to start winning matches again, and with some help from both Elektra Lopez and The Emperor of Lucha Libre, Angel and Berto were able to hit their Tag Team finisher to score the W!

Solo Sikoa warned DIY and The Street Profits of what’s going to happen to them next week before Nick Aldis welcomed out both Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens for a Face-to-Face confrontation! Kevin quickly asked Cody about his knee before Rhodes responded by asking Owens if he wanted to take him out from behind last week. KO was clearly fed up of all of these questions, and he made it very clear that he wouldn’t want another World Title reign tainted due to injury. Cody made it clear that he is 100%, but he did want to know if The Prizefighter would still be friends with him after Bash in Berlin. KO then whispered something into The American Nightmare’s ear before he left. This was actually a pretty good segment, it’s great to see the little details playing such a big role in the story!

A-Town Down Under disrespected Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin backstage before Austin Theory questioned Grayson Waller over his recent actions. Surprisingly, The Arrogant Aussie actually apologised! Giovanni Vinci then had another superb video package before Andrade was then out next as he was ready to go one-on-one with Carmelo Hayes for their 4th contest! This was their best match to date in my opinion, the German crowd completely ate up what both men were delivering, and this was just great! Some of the moves Andrade hits are insane, but Carmelo Hayes also hit a terrific First-48 which looked awesome! Also, there was a story throughout this of the top turnbuckle being pulled off, and that ultimately played into the finish as Andrade dropped head-first into it before Melo hit Nothin’ but Net to make it 2-2 in their Series!

WWE Women’s Championship Street Fight: Nia Jax VS Michin
After Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill talked about getting the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships back, it was Main Event time as Nia Jax put her WWE Women’s Championship on the line in a Street Fight against Michin! This was a decent contest, some of the weapon shots looked tough, and Michin putting Nia through a table was pretty cool! However, the last few minutes were by far the best bits as Tiffany Stratton ran down to tease another cash-in as part of a distraction against The HBIC, even though it looked for a brief moment that Tiffany was tempted to cash in. Bayley then ran down to stop all of this from happening, but this just angered Jax who hit an Annihilator to Michin who was inside a trash can to score the win before The Queen of the Ring just threw stuff at a lifeless Yim! That was actually very cool!
