The Bloodline Start the Show, Bianca Belair VS Blair Davenport VS Chelsea Green: Women’s United States Championship Tournament (Round 1)
The Bloodline arrived to kick off this week’s Friday Night SmackDown as Solo Sikoa once again demanded Acknowledgment from the WWE Universe! Solo also said he wants Roman Reigns to head down to the ring at the end of the show to “surrender” and join his crew for good! That was literally all that was said, fair enough!
Grade: C
It was then straight into the first match of the night as Bianca Belair, Blair Davenport, and Chelsea Green clashed in the opening round of the Women’s United States Championship Tournament! This was actually a fun contest, Bianca did well here, Chelsea is so good, and Blair Davenport is incredibly underrated and underutilised! Interestingly, Jade Cargill was shown to be completely wrecked on top of a car which resulted in Belair leaving the ring to go check on her partner, leaving the door open for Green to drop Davenport with the Unpretti-Her to score the victory!

United States Championship: LA Knight VS Santos Escobar, Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens Come Face-to-Face, Bayley and Naomi VS Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae, Montez Ford VS Tommaso Ciampa
Bianca Belair told Bayley to stay out of things as she checked in on her partner Jade Cargill before it was time for LA Knight to put his United States Championship on the line against Santos Escobar! This was a fine match, but we’ve seen it plenty of times before so it wasn’t groundbreaking or anything like that! However, the main talking point is Shinsuke Nakamura because Shinsuke not only good a really cool video promo beforehand, but he also appeared in an attempt to distract LA Knight, only for The Megastar to drop Santos with a BFT to score the 1.2.3!
Grade: C+
Johnny Gargano was speaking with Motor City Machine Guns about a potential WWE Tag Team Championships opportunity when Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley told Gargano that they felt like The Street Profits deserved the opportunity more. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins then walked in to talk some crap before Nia Jax made it clear to Nick Aldis that she had nothing to do with Jade Cargill’s attack! Cody Rhodes then headed down to the ring to do a face-to-face promo with Kevin Owens, and I thought this was really good! KO made it clear that all that’s gone on recently is Cody’s fault because of the simple fact that he decided to team with Roman Reigns despite everything that Roman put Owens through! Cody Rhodes then fired back to remind Kevin that he is one of the best in WWE and that the only person holding him back is himself! I thought both Cody and KO did a great job here, this is definitely Rhodes’ best feud as Champion so far!
Grade: B+
Roman Reigns made it very clear that he doesn’t want either Cody Rhodes or Seth “Freakin” Rollins in his WarGames team before Cody Rhodes got into a bit of a backstage scuffle with Carmelo Hayes! This was another really good thing on this show, it’s awesome to see Carmelo Hayes in this position! It was then time for a Tag Team match as Bayley and Naomi teamed up once again to take on the pairing of Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae! This match wasn’t great, it felt a bit sloppy at parts, but the women involved are good enough so I won’t go on about it too much! One thing I will say is I didn’t like the finish as Nia Jax just got involved to cause the DQ before the women in this year’s WarGames Match all showed up (Iyo Sky, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Rhea Ripley) to start a brawl, with Rhea Ripley standing tall!
Grade: C
The Main Event match of the night was then up next as Montez Ford went one-on-one with Tommaso Ciampa! This was pretty decent, Ciampa in particular looked great here as he was properly ruthless in his offense against Ford, but Montez was eventually able to sneak a win via roll-up! After the match, Tommaso attacked Ford from behind before Angelo Dawkins brawled with Ciampa before he got wiped out by The Blackheart after Johnny Gargano arrived! Ciampa then came close to taking out Gargano before the Motor City Machine Guns arrived to break things up!
Grade: B-
The O.G. Bloodline Have its 5th Man
The Bloodline made their way down to the ring, only for The O.G. Bloodline to quickly follow! Solo Sikoa said he still loves everyone, and if they join his group, they’ll be unstoppable for decades! Roman Reigns then went to speak, but before The Head of the Table could say anything, Paul Heyman spoke as The Wiseman made his long-awaited return to say that he has found a 5th member for WarGames! That man is none other than CM Punk as a brawl broke out with the good guys standing tall! The show then went off the air with Reigns and Punk looking at each other, and this was really cool, Heyman is the GOAT, and I’m so looking forward to this match!
