Women’s World Championship Number 1 Contender’s Elimination Chamber Match

Elimination Chamber 2025 kicked off with Liv Morgan, Bayley, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, and Roxanne Perez clashing inside of the Elimination Chamber in order to earn their way to a Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania! Whilst the match was supposed to begin with Liv and Naomi, Jade Cargill made her return and “shockingly” attacked Naomi, battering the person that she believes was the perpetrator of her attack back in October! This ultimately took Naomi out of the match as we instead got Liv VS Bianca, and Roxanne, Bayley, and Alexa all followed every few minutes! After Bayley and Roxanne went back-and-forth, Morgan took advantage and dropped Bayley with an ObLIVion to eliminate The Role Model whilst Bliss was able to get rid of Perez! Alexa then dropped Bianca with a Sister Abigail, but Liv took advantage and eliminated Bliss with a roll-up before Belair fought back and nailed Morgan with a K.O.D. to get a 1.2.3. meaning The EST is heading to WrestleMania! I thought this was a good match, it flowed well, and some of the transitions into eliminations were really strong!

Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus VS Nia Jax and Candice LeRae

Trish Stratus returned home as she teamed up with Tiffany Stratton to take on the duo of Nia Jax and Candice LeRae! Unfortunately, the crowd didn’t seem particularly interested in this match, and it’s honestly not much of a surprise because this really didn’t mean anything! It was done to give Trish a hometown match, but it didn’t do anything for the story between Tiffany and Charlotte Flair, and this whole Stratton-Jax feud hasn’t been as big as it should’ve been! Ultimately, the WWE Women’s Champion was able to get the win following a Prettiest Moonsault Ever to Nia Jax, but I don’t know, this just didn’t click!

Kevin Owens VS Sami Zayn: Unsanctioned

Two of Canada’s greatest-ever Professional Wrestlers squared off as Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn went one-on-one in an Unsanctioned Match! In my opinion, this was the best match of the night, both men risked it all in order to entertain everyone, and some of the moves were damn vicious! Sami going through two tables was crazy, Kevin landing face-first onto a steel chair following an exploder Suplex was nasty, and the fact that Zayn used a barbed-wired steel chair as a weapon was insane! There were also multiple ref bumps which is always fun, and towards the end of the match, Owens became even more vicious as he slammed Zayn’s neck (which was wrapped around a steel chair) onto multiple ring posts before KO delivered 2 apron Powerbombs to ultimately get the win! After the match, Kevin looked to continue to beat up Sami, but Randy Orton made his return to take Owens out with an RKO before security stopped Orton from delivering a Punt Kick! Once again, this was the best match of the night!

Undisputed WWE Championship Number 1 Contender’s Elimination Chamber Match

And in the Main Event, John Cena, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Damian Priest, and Seth “Freakin” Rollins collied inside the barbaric Elimination Chamber for the right to face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania! This match started with Seth and Drew, and that meant they spent a lot of time around the pod of CM Punk before Damian Priest came out at Number 3! Logan Paul was then out at 4 before John Cena arrived and started to drop everyone with AA’s! However, Drew was able to land a vicious Claymore, only for Damian to roll him up for a 3-count meaning McIntyre was eliminated! Drew then took his anger out by Claymoring Priest which allowed Logan to deliver a Frog Splash from the top of a pod to eliminate The Archer of Infamy before CM Punk entered the fray! Not long after, and Logan Paul was eliminated courtesy of a GTS before Seth Rollins sent John Cena crashing through a pod! However, instead of going after Cena, Rollins turned his attention to Punk, and that cost Seth as he was eventually eliminated after both Punk and Cena hit their finishing manoeuvres! It was then supposed to be a straight fight between CM Punk and John Cena, but Seth “Freakin” Rollins nailed Punk with a Stomp which allowed Cena to lock in the STF to get the submission victory! I thought Seth Rollins was the best thing in this match, I thought he did really well, and him costing Punk is great! However, the night wasn’t over yet as Cody Rhodes came out to embrace his WrestleMania opponent before The Rock arrived to ask for his answer! Amazingly, Cody rejected Dwayne’s offer by telling him to “f himself” before Cena hugged Rhodes, only for The Rock to make the same gesture he made at Bad Blood, leading to Cena turning on The American Nightmare! The Rock, John Cena, and Travis Scott (yes, Travis Scott) then continued to batter a bloody Cody Rhodes as the show ended in one of the most shocking ways possible! I really didn’t expect this, certainly not in the way that it was done anyway, and it was pretty amazing!
