Countdown Show: Fatal Influence VS Meta-Four VS Chemical X VS Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade

On the Countdown to Stand and Deliver, Fatal Influence, Meta-Four, Chemical X, and Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade clashed for the right to earn themselves a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships! This was honestly such a bizarre match, so many things happened that just felt odd. This was also an Elimination Match, and despite a strong showing from the Meta-Girls, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson were eliminated first following a Pop Rox from Roxanne Perez! However, for whatever reason, Roxanne then decided to just walk off, leaving her partner Cora Jade to be eliminated from the proceedings! This meant it came down to Fatal Influence and Chemical X, and I did appreciate that it meant we saw Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne go at it on WrestleMania Weekend! Things then got even weirder as Jazmyn Nyx decided to just get into the ring to distract the referee, and Shotzi decided against doing anything to help her partners! However, in the end, it was Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley who got the win to earn themselves a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships!

NXT North American Championship: Ricky Saints VS Ethan Page

The opening match of this year’s NXT Stand and Deliver saw Ricky Saints put his NXT North American Championship on the line against “All Ego” Ethan Page! This was a great way to start the show, both guys really went at it, and it’s kind of amazing to think that neither guy was even in the company this time last year! Ricky Saints has continued to impress me since he’s arrived at NXT, he is incredibly unique (in the best possible way), and Ethan Page is an absolute star! Ethan did come close to winning following an Ego’s Edge, but in the end, Saints was able to deliver Rochambeau to get the win and retain his North American Title!
Grade: B+
NXT Tag Team Championships: Axiom and Nathan Frazer VS Hank and Tank

The NXT Tag Team Championships were next on the line as Axiom and Nathan Frazer defended against Hank and Tank! I have to say, this match was unbelievable, it was absolutely incredible! Time and time again, Axiom and Frazer have proven themselves to be the best Tag Team in the world, no one can perform like they can, and the sheer ridiculousness of their speed resulted in so many amazing moments. However, having said that, this was also by far the best performance I’ve seen from Hank and Tank, they massively stepped up here, and it was fantastic to see! The one dive that Hank Walker did where he just went flying onto the announce table was insane, Tank Ledger kicking out of the high-low was a genuinely good near-fall, and Hank then breaking up the Spanish Fly/Phoenix Splash combo was just as great! Amazingly, after Axiom was taken out, Hank and Tank took it to another gear, dropping Nathan Frazer with their Tag Team finisher to get the win meaning we have brand-new NXT Tag Team Champions! All four men deserve a raise after this match, this was fantastic!

NXT Women’s North American Championship Ladder Match: Kelani Jordan VS Izzi Dame VS Sol Ruca VS Lola Vice VS Thea Hail VS Zaria

It was then time for a Ladder Match as Kelani Jordan, Izzi Dame, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Thea Hail, and Zaria fought to become the brand-new NXT Women’s North American Champion! This could’ve gone multiple different ways, from insanity to a literal car crash, but I actually think all six women did pretty well! Sol Ruca was definitely the standout here, as she always tends to be, but everyone had moments to shine. There were a couple of nasty ladder spots, including Thea Hail taking a massive whack to the head, but the match ultimately came down to Zaria and Sol Ruca who both seemed very reluctant to fight one another. However, Sol won out before she nailed Izzi, Lola, and Thea with Sol Snatcher’s, resulting in Ruca climbing back up the ladder to unhook the NXT Women’s North American Championship! Sol Ruca being a Champion is long overdue, it should’ve happened a long time ago, so I’m very happy for her!

Grade: B
The D’Angelo Family VS DarkState

The next match saw The D’Angelo Family and DarkState clash in a 6-Man Tag Team Match! This was definitely the weakest match of the night, it didn’t really flow that great, and I think that’s very much down to DarkState! I said the other day that only Saquon Shugars stood out to me as anyone decent, and whilst Dion Lennox did better here, it still wasn’t enough. Most of the focus of this match also surrounded Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, and Stacks wasn’t listening to D’Angelo when it came to instructions! Towards the end of the match, Stacks grabbed a crowbar, but Tony D convinced Lorenzo not to use it. However, in what was a shocking moment, The Underboss delivered a low-blow to The Don to turn on the Family as DarkState took advantage and hit their finisher to get the win!
Grade: C+
NXT Women’s Championship: Stephanie Vaquer VS Giulia VS Jordynne Grace VS Jaida Parker

It was then Fatal 4-Way time as Stephanie Vaquer put her NXT Women’s Championship on the line against Giulia, Jordynne Grace, and Jaida Parker! I thought this was a good match, it wasn’t as strong as some of the other matches on the card, but all four women still did a decent job, Stephanie and Giulia in particular are great Professional Wrestlers, they will go far in this company, and Jordynne Grace also gets treated like a machine. I also feel that Jaida Parker deserves some praise because as the only home-grown NXT talent in the match, she showed just how far the Division has come since the start of the 2.0 Era! After Grace delivered a Juggernaut Driver, Giulia came insanely close to winning by pinning Miss Parker in an amazing near-fall, but Stephanie Vaquer was in the right place at the right time as she dropped Jaida with an SVB to get the win and retain her NXT Women’s Championship!
Grade: B
NXT Championship: Oba Femi VS Trick Williams VS Je’Von Evans

And in the Main Event of NXT Stand and Deliver 2025, Oba Femi put his NXT Championship on the line against both Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans in a Triple Threat Match! The crowd were so into this, it definitely felt like a Main Event matchup, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The amount of spots we got here was insane, from Je’Von being sent through a barricade, Oba crashing through the announce table, Trick just creating a ref bump for no reason, and the referee even kicked out at Femi which was pretty wild to see! Je’Von Evans was absolutely incredible here, some of the dives he hit were absolutely insane, and he continues to be a standout! Trick Williams was also great here, he continues to prove that he is in fact a really good in-ring competitor, and need I say more about Oba Femi, that guy has got WrestleMania Main Eventer written all over him! The closing phases of this match was fantastic, with Je’Von delivering double Cutters to both of his opponents, only for Trick to fire straight back with a Trick Shot! However, Oba Femi had clearly had enough by this point as The Ruler delivered a Fall From Grace on Williams onto Evans before he delivered another Fall From Grace on The Young O.G. meaning the NXT Championship stays with Oba Femi! Whilst it’s very much a toss up as to which was the match of the night between this one and the NXT Tag Team Championships Match, there is no doubt that the NXT Superstars really did Stand and Deliver tonight!
