Kelani Jordan VS Lola Vice
The final NXT of 2024 kicked off with Lola Vice clashing with Kelani Jordan! This was a decent little match, it was set up to due to a backstage interaction on last week’s show, and I thought what we saw was fine! Both women have had good 2024's, but both Lola and Kelani will be hoping for more in 2025! In the end, an arrival from Cora Jade led to Jordan getting the win before Cora whacked both Lani and Vice with her kendo stick! Stephanie Vaquer then ran down to make the save, but she got floored accidentally by a Lola Vice back fist!

Ethan Page VS Cedric Alexander, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter VS Meta-Four VS Shotzi and Gigi Dolin
Oba Femi VS Josh Briggs VS Dijak was announced as NXT’s Match of the Year (nice moment for them) before Giulia cut a promo about how all of her experiences will help her capture the NXT Championship off Roxanne Perez at New Year’s Evil! Joe Hendry’s Arrival on NXT was then voted as NXT’s Moment of the Year (which is actually pretty funny) before Ethan Page headed to the ring to take on Cedric Alexander! This was a standard match, it had some good moments, but it was all about the aftermath! See, after Page picked up the win with a nice neck breaker, All Ego found a toolbox and slammed it shut on the hands of Alexander in what was another vicious act from Ethan Page! Someone needs to stop this guy!

Shawn Spears was trying to coach Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe before Wes Lee walked in before we got ourselves a Triple Threat Tag Team Match between Katana Chance and Kayden Carter, Meta-Four, and Shotzi and Gigi Dolin! This was decent for the most part, The KC’s are just terrific and it’s great when they get to run wild in NXT, and Meta-Four are also really good! The problem, however, was how slow Shotzi and Gigi Dolin are, like they just haven’t improved when others have! After Chance and Carter were taken out, Fatal Influence arrived to cause a distraction which allowed The Meta-Girls to drop Gigi with their finisher to get the W!

Izzi Dame VS Sol Ruca, Andre Chase, Hank and Tank VS Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe
Lola Vice, Stephanie Vaquer, and Kelani Jordan were all having a go at each other backstage as Cora Jade watched on before Ava took the NXT Heritage Cup off Lexis King and gave it back to Charlie Dempsey! The two will have a “Sudden Death” contest next week, and I’m sorry, but this is absolutely stupid! Axiom and Nathan Frazer then rightly won NXT Tag Team of the Year which OTM didn’t care about before it was time for Sol Ruca to go one-on-one with Izzi Dame! Sol Ruca is so good, like NXT have to put a Championship on her in 2025, otherwise, they’ve messed up! However, I also like Izzi Dame, I think she has a big upside to her, and I hope she gets utilised better this year too! Interestingly, after Sol accidentally wiped out Zaria with a dive to the outside, Izzi dropped Ruca to pick up the surprise win as Shawn Spears watched on!

Hank and Tank asked Andre Chase about being their Tag Team partner for one night only before Roxanne Perez was given the award for NXT Female Superstar of the Year! Like I said in my WWE Awards Article; 2024 – The Year of The Prodigy! It was then time for the final WWE and NXT match of 2024 as Andre Chase teamed up with Hank and Tank to take on the trio of Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe! This was a simple match that had some fun spots, Wes Lee is great, Hank and Tank are super energetic, and I think I’ll always have a soft spot for Mr. Chase! Chase was even rolling at one point, but he then realised that his Student Section is no longer there which is when Andre left, leaving the Heels to take advantage of the 3-on-2 advantage to get the win!

Trick Williams Interrupts Oba Femi
After Ashante “Thee” Adonis rejected Nikkita Lyons due to having feelings for Karmen Petrovic, and Shawn Spears made his feelings known about the NXT North American Champion Tony D’Angelo, the final segment was supposed to be Mike Rome announcing the winner of the NXT Men’s Superstar of the Year Award! However, Oba Femi would interrupt to talk trash about the award, calling it a “popularity contest” (which is true) before Oba said that he is the only person that’s in control of what happens right now! Trick Williams then interrupted to remind Femi that he's the NXT Champion, and he’s not the one who’s doing the chasing! Both men then had a couple of good lines each before Eddy Thorpe ran in and took out both men from behind to end the year with the NXT Championship in his hands! Once again, the money is between Trick Williams and Oba Femi, but for some reason, we’re getting a Triple Threat next week!
