NXT Women’s North American Championship: Stephanie Vaquer VS Karmen Petrovic
This week’s edition of NXT in Cincinnati kicked off with Stephanie Vaquer putting her newly won NXT Women’s North American Championship on the line against Karmen Petrovic! This was a decent match, I thought Karmen stepped up here which is great to see, and we all know how highly I rate Stephanie Vaquer! This was actually a pretty even match, with both women getting in plenty of offense, but in the end, an SVD by Vaquer was enough to put Petrovic down for the 3 count! After the match, Giulia arrived and said that they both needed to prove who the best Champion really is which is why they’re going to face off, Title for Title at NXT Roadblock! Interesting!

TNA X-Division Championship: Moose VS Lexis King, Jordynne Grace Promo
Arianna Grace and Santino Marella were having a meeting before Lola Vice said she wants a fight tonight! Lexis King then talked to Oba Femi about how he’s going to have 2 Championships by the end of the night as The King arrived in his hometown to take on Moose for the TNA X-Division Championship! The crowd were definitely more behind Lexis here, but I think that’s because of the hometown factor. For the most part, this was a pretty decent matchup, both Moose and King had some good moments, but there were also some bits where the pacing seemed a little off. Of course, Moose was able to get the win with a Spear before Oba Femi arrived post-match to announce that they will be colliding at Roadblock with the NXT Championship on the line! That should be pretty insane!

After Shawn Spears had a good video package talking about his new Family, Jordynne Grace made her way down to the ring to talk about why she decided to join NXT! The reason was simple, Jordynne wants to win Championship Gold, and NXT has the Best Women’s Division in the World! Grace was then interrupted by Roxanne Perez who reminded her of what happened when the two faced off at NXT Battleground last year whilst Roxanne made it clear that this is still her division! Grace then decided to punch Perez, and that ended the segment! I don’t think this was the best first promo that Jordynne Grace could’ve done, and it’s also interesting how the crowd seemed more behind The Prodigy than The Juggernaut!

The Hardy Boyz VS No Quarter Catch Crew, Arianna Grace VS Lola Vice

Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans nearly got into backstage, only for Ricky Saints to calm the situation down before Jaida Parker cut a promo that I honestly didn’t hear because the Netflix feed kept cutting out! It was then time for what the crowd had been waiting for as The Hardy Boyz made their WWE returns to take on the No Quarter Catch Crew! This was a good match, The Hardy’s haven’t seemed to have lost a step whilst the NQCC continue to impress! I did find it weird that the TNA World Tag Team Titles weren’t on the line given that that was kind of the whole point of Myles Borne and Tavion Heights calling out Matt and Jeff, but other than that, this worked well, and it ended with Jeff Hardy hitting the Swanton Bomb to get the win! After the match, Axiom and Nathan Frazer joined them in the ring for a cool moment before Santino Marella arrived to confirm that these two teams will face off for the TNA World Tag Team Championships at Roadblock! That card is stacked!

Tony D’Angelo made it clear to the rest of The Family that he needs to take care of Shawn Spears next week before we got an interaction between Chelsea Green and Piper Niven, and Sol Ruca and Zaria to set up a match for next week’s NXT! Lola Vice then made her in-ring return after a little bit as she was ready to go one-on-one with Arianna Grace! Despite Arianna’s best attempts to evade the early onslaught, Lola was able to connect with a few strikes before she just picked up the win with a back fist! In some ways, this was pointless, however, it felt like it was done just to get Vice back on TV with a victory!
Grade: C
Ethan Page and Wes Lee VS Ricky Saints and Je’Von Evans

After an Eddy Thorpe video and Ava confirming the matches for NXT Roadblock, it was Main Event time as Ricky Saints made his NXT debut in a Tag Team match with Je’Von Evans against the duo of Wes Lee and Ethan Page! This was all about making Ricky Saints look like a big deal, and that he definitely did! It was a great move from NXT to have him face off with the likes of Wes Lee and Ethan Page because they are both so good at making others look great! We also have to talk about Je’Von Evans as he is definitely a future Champion, and his storyline with Page is definitely still going as The Young O.G. and All Ego brawled to the back! This then left Ricky alone with Wes, and in the end, Saints was able to drop Lee with his finisher to get the win and kick-start the Revolution!
