NFL Week 9 Preview and Predictions: Part 2

(6-1) Minnesota Vikings @ Washington Commanders (4-4)

The Washington Commanders went to Indianapolis last week and they managed to beat the Colts (17-16). Even though they are bottom of the NFC East, they are on a 3-game winning streak. As for Minnesota, they earnt their 5th consecutive win by defeating the Arizona Cardinals 34-26. They are currently top of the NFC North by over 3 games. Overall, I am picking the Vikings to win this one. Both teams are on a good run of form and Washington deserve to be respected but for me, the Vikings are performing incredibly well right now.

(2-5) Las Vegas Raiders @ Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6)

Even though the Jaguars played in a different continent, the result was still the same as they suffered their 5th consecutive loss. The Jags currently sit third in the AFC South. As for Las Vegas, their season was pretty much finished last week after a 24-0 loss to the New Orleans Saints. They are currently bottom of the AFC West with just 2 wins. Overall, I think the Raiders will pick up the W. Both teams aren’t that great, but the Raiders are better. Lose this game and they are definitely finished.

(5-3) Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals (3-5)

The Arizona Cardinals came close to beating the Minnesota Vikings last week, but multiple mistakes cost them. They are currently bottom of the NFC West. As for Seattle, they picked up their third consecutive win last time out against the New York Giants (27-13). They currently sit in first place in the NFC West. Overall, I am going to go with the Seahawks. I could see either team winning this game but Seattle are on a good role right now. Also, in my opinion, this is a must win game for Arizona.

(3-4) Los Angeles Rams @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffered their third successive loss last week at home to the Ravens on Thursday Night Football. They are currently second in the NFC South. As for the Los Angeles Rams, they were quite literally smashed by the San Francisco 49ers (31-14) at home! They are currently third in the NFC West. Overall, I am going with the Bucs. Both teams need to win this game, LA need the win to keep up with the Seahawks whilst the Bucs need to win to make themselves feel better.

(5-2) Tennessee Titans @ Kansas City Chiefs (5-2)

Two of the best teams in the AFC face off as the Tennessee Titans take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead on Sunday Night Football. The Kansas City Chiefs didn’t play last weekend meaning they will be well prepared for this matchup. They are still first in the AFC West. As for Tennessee, they reeled off their 5th consecutive victory by beating the Houston Texans 17-10. They currently sit comfortably top of the AFC South. Overall, I am going with the Chiefs. Both teams are going to be competing come the end of the season but right now, the Chiefs are the better team. Let’s see if Derrick Henry can do anything about it.

(5-3) Baltimore Ravens @ New Orleans Saints (3-5)

The New Orleans picked up a massive victory over the Las Vegas Raiders last week. The result is great but it’s more the performance that stands out. Even though they are only third in the NFC South, they will win their division comfortably if they play how they played in their 24-0 win over the Raiders. As for Baltimore, they picked up an important victory in Tampa Bay to move a game ahead of the Cincinatti Bengals in the race for the number 1 team in the AFC North. Overall, I am picking the Ravens to win. Both teams could win this game, but the Ravens are the more consistent team.
