(3-2) Baltimore Ravens @ New York Giants (4-1)
The New York Giants are still going strong. After an excellent start to the season, it got better in London as they managed to beat the Green Bay Packers. The 27-22 win means they have already matched their win total from last year. A slight negative for the Giants is despite winning 4 out of their 5 games, they are only 3rd in the NFC East. As for Baltimore, they pulled out a big win at home to the Cincinatti Bengals (19-17). The win means the Ravens are first place in the AFC North and they will look to go on a winning run which would help give them a better seed in the playoffs. Overall, I am going with a Baltimore victory. I think it could be close and it sort of feels harsh to bet against the Giants, but I have more belief in the Ravens squad.
(3-2) Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Pittsburgh Steelers (1-4)
The Pittsburgh Steelers look lost right now. When you watch them, it looks like they have no clue what they are doing and that’s a disaster, particularly when you play against the Buffalo Bills. They are bottom of the AFC North and it isn’t going to get any easier when you play Tom Brady. As for Tampa Bay, they got over the line against the Atlanta Falcons (21-15) and are another team that are looking to build some good momentum. They are still top of the NFC South though. Overall, I am going with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They are far and away the better team (which probably means they will lose).
(1-4) Carolina Panthers @ Los Angeles Rams (2-3)
The Rams are struggling a bit at the moment. They suffered a 22-10 defeat at home to the Dallas Cowboys meaning they have a negative record. They still sit second in their division though (NFC West). As for Carolina, they didn’t really show anything against the 49ers that you can talk positively about. Since that game, they’ve sacked their head coach Matt Rhule, so we’ll find out if they are any better off without him. The Panthers are currently bottom of the NFC South. Overall, I am picking the LA Rams to get the win. This is simply a game that they should and need to be cruising through.
(2-3) Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks (2-3)
The Seattle Seahawks are surprisingly great on offense. They scored 48 points in Week 4 and scored another 32 last week but they still lost because their defense is pretty rubbish. The Seahawks are currently bottom of the NFC West. As for Arizona, they suffered another loss at home; they are 0-3 at home and 2-0 on the road. The Cardinals are currently third in the NFC West. Overall, I am going with the Seattle Seahawks to get the win. It could be another high scoring game, but I think that Seattle will just about have enough to stop Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals.
(4-1) Buffalo Bills @ Kansas City Chiefs (4-1)
The Bills @ the Chiefs promises to be one of the best games of the entire season. The Kansas City Chiefs just about got over the line against the Las Vegas Raiders to keep themselves at the top of the AFC West. As for Buffalo, they romped through the Pittsburgh Steelers (38-3) and are first in the AFC East. The scariest fact about Buffalo is that they have a points difference of 91! Overall, I am going with the Kansas City Chiefs. These are, in my opinion, the two best teams in the NFL with the two best Quarterbacks on recent form. Which team do I think is better, Buffalo. Which QB do I think is better, Patrick Mahomes. Whatever happens, I fully expect these two teams to play each other again in the playoffs.
(4-1) Dallas Cowboys @ Philadelphia Eagles (5-0)
A massive game takes place on Sunday Night Football between NFC East rivals the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are still the only team with an 100%/unbeaten record after they pulled out a great road win in Arizona (20-17). As for Dallas, they pulled out their 4th successive win last time out against the Rams in LA. The Cowboys are currently second in the NFC East but know that a win would move them above their opponents and potentially into first place in the entire NFC. Overall, I am picking the Dallas Cowboys to get the win. That may seem like a surprise but, the Cowboys defense looks capable of stopping Jalen Hurts. Also, between Philly, Dallas and the Giants, they have a combined record of 7-0 on the road. Definitely my bold prediction for the week.
(2-3) Denver Broncos @ Los Angeles Chargers (3-2)
The Los Angeles Chargers are starting to build themselves some momentum. Last week, they beat the Browns in Cleveland and they are now second in the AFC West. As for Denver, they are a bit of a mess right now. Russell Wilson coming in was meant to make them a championship challenger, but they just don’t seem to know how to score right now. The Broncos are currently third in the AFC West. Overall, I am going with the LA Chargers. They are the better team right now; particularly given Justin Herbert seems to be getting back to somewhere near his best.
