(1-2) New York Jets @ Pittsburgh Steelers (1-2)
The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a loss in Cleveland on last week’s Thursday Night Football. They haven’t played particularly well this year and they sit bottom of the AFC South because of it. Without T.J. Watt, they don’t look like a team that can scare anyone. As for New York, they lost against the Cincinatti Bengals 27-12 last week. They haven’t look particularly great as they sit third in the AFC East. However, their number 1 QB Zach Wilson is meant to be making his first start of the season this weekend so it will be interesting to see how much he can improve the Jets offense. Overall, I think that Pittsburgh will win this game. The home crowd should be enough to get them over the line.
(2-1) Buffalo Bills @ Baltimore Ravens (2-1)
One of the games of the week takes place as Josh Allen takes on Lamar Jackson in what promises to be a high scoring affair. The Baltimore Ravens managed a 37-26 victory over the New England Patriots where Lamar scored a total of 5 touchdown passes. Jackson has arguably been the best player so far this season. The Ravens sit second in the AFC North and will really want to make it to the top. As for Buffalo, the team that looked unbeatable got beat by division rivals Miami to remind them that they can never get complacent. Buffalo also sit second in their division. Overall, this is a really hard game to predict. Both teams have won every game they’ve played besides when they face Miami so this could really go either way. I’m going to go Baltimore!
(1-2) Los Angeles Chargers @ Houston Texans (0-2-1)
The Houston Texans arguably could have beat the Chicago Bears but in the end, they just aren’t good enough to finish the job. They are bottom of the AFC South and one of only 2 teams yet to win a game. As for Los Angeles, they were thumped by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Justin Herbert is clearly not at 100% and without him at his best, the Chargers are in serious trouble. They sit third in the AFC West and need to be getting a win this weekend. Overall, I’m picking the Chargers to beat the Texans. They should win but the biggest concern is how Herbert gets on.
(1-2) Arizona Cardinals @ Carolina Panthers (1-2)
The Carolina Panthers picked up their first win of the season last weekend against division rivals New Orleans. It was a big win for the Panthers given how poor they have been. Carolina sit second in the NFC South which maybe showcases the lack of real quality in that division. As for Arizona, they lost at home to the Los Angeles Rams which was pretty disappointing. So far, the Cardinals haven’t shown the quality that you would expect from them. They sit bottom of the NFC West. Overall, I am predicting Arizona to win this game. If they don’t, they really are in trouble.
(1-2) New England Patriots @ Green Bay Packers (2-1)
Two iconic teams face off as the Green Bay Packers host the New England Patriots at Lambeau Field. The Green Bay Packers pulled of an incredible victory away from home to Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay to remind everyone just how much of a threat they are. The Packers sit second in the NFC North. As for New England, they fell short against the Baltimore Ravens last week to move under 500. Also, Mac Jones suffered an injury which could see him out for the time being. The Patriots sit bottom of the AFC East which feels crazy. Overall, I have the Packers to win this game. They just don’t lose at home in the regular season.
(2-1) Denver Broncos @ Las Vegas Raiders (0-3)
The Las Vegas Raiders come into Week 4 as the only team to lose all 3 of their games. That seems crazy given the talent on their roster. Last week, they fell short against Tennessee, and they obviously sit bottom of the AFC West. As for Denver, they managed to win in a scrappy encounter against San Francisco. Denver being 2-1 is scary right now, particularly given they are nowhere near their best right now. They sit second in the AFC West, level with first place. Overall, I am picking the Broncos to win this game. I think when Denver finds their best form, they are going to be very hard to beat.
(2-1) Kansas City Chiefs @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1)
It’s time for a Super Bowl rematch. Tom Brady fell short against a fellow G.O.A.T last weekend and will not want to lose again. The Bucs were poor last weekend and need to bounce back on Sunday Night Football. They still sit atop the NFC South though. As for Kansas, they suffered a really disappointing loss away to Indianapolis. The worst part about it was the fact that they looked like a totally beatable side, something they weren’t beforehand. Kansas are still top of the AFC West though which is a positive. Overall, I am picking Tampa Bay to win. It’s close but I’m going with Brady as he’s more reliable.
(2-1) Los Angeles Rams @ San Francisco 49ers (1-2)
The final game of the weekend sees the Los Angeles Rams take on the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football. San Francisco were really poor last week and ended up losing 11-10 against the Denver Broncos. The 49ers sit second in their division, and this is already a must win game. As for Los Angeles, they beat the Cardinals in a pretty impressive performance. The Rams have been the clear standout in the NFC West, and they sit top because of it. Overall, I am picking the Rams to win. Garoppolo isn’t match sharp yet and the Rams have momentum behind them.
