NFL Week 4 Preview and Predictions: Part 1

(3-0) Miami Dolphins @ Cincinatti Bengals (1-2)

The Cincinatti Bengals come into this game after an important victory against the New York Jets. The Bengals sit bottom of their division and will look to get back to .500. As for Miami, they pulled off an incredible victory over the Buffalo Bills to leave them as the last remaining 3-0 side in the AFC. The Dolphins are obviously top of their division and will look for another win to continue this incredible start. Overall, I think this will be an exciting Thursday Night Football but, I am picking the Dolphins to beat the Bengals purely on the fact that they have looked better so far.

(2-1) Minnesota Vikings @ New Orleans Saints (1-2)

The NFL Returns to London as the New Orleans Saints take on the Minnesota Vikings. The New Orleans Saints have been really disappointing the last couple of weeks. Firstly, they lost to Tampa Bay and last week, they lost to another division rival in the Carolina Panthers. They were lacklustre and they sit third in their division It’s definitely a cause for concern, particularly when you consider that the Saints were a Darkhorse for a potential playoff run. As for Minnesota, they pulled off a fourth quarter comeback to move themselves to the top of the NFC North at 2-1. Given how they have performed in the first 3 weeks, it will be interesting to see which version of the Minnesota Vikings we see in London. Overall, I have the Minnesota Vikings beating the New Orleans Saints. The Saints just haven’t looked good enough right now.

(2-1) Cleveland Browns @ Atlanta Falcons (1-2)

The Atlanta Falcons got an important first victory of the season last weekend in Seattle as they managed to defeat the Seahawks. The Falcons still sit bottom of their division and will need a few more wins before people can start talking about them in a less harsh way. For the Browns, they managed to get a very good win on last week’s Thursday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Browns sit atop of the AFC North and the only criticism that I have towards Cleveland is the fact that they aren’t 3-0. Overall, I believe that the Cleveland Browns are going to win this game. They are the better team right now and that should be enough if, they don’t make stupid errors.

(1-2) Washington Commanders @ Dallas Cowboys (2-1)

The Dallas Cowboys have managed 2 wins in a row with last week's win coming on Monday Night Football in New York against the Giants. They sit 2nd in the NFC East and will be looking to make it 3 wins in a row. For Washington, the second quarter thrashing by the Philadelphia Eagles was enough to see Washington come out as the losing side. They sit bottom of the NFC East and really need to win this game as otherwise; it’s going to be very tough to keep up with Philadelphia and Dallas. Overall, I have the Dallas Cowboys winning this game. They are easily the better team, and these are the games that they need to be winning in order to fight Philadelphia for the NFC East title.

(1-2) Seattle Seahawks @ Detroit Lions (1-2)

The Detroit Lions came close to knocking off the Minnesota Vikings, but it just wasn’t meant to be. They still look better than they have in previous seasons though which is a positive. They sit bottom of the NFC North as the only team to not win 2 games in that division. As for Seattle, they fell disappointingly short of beating the Atlanta Falcons. They are the games that Seattle has to be winning, particularly when they are playing at home. Seattle sit third in their division which is definitely better than last. Overall, I think the Detroit Lions will win. Both sides are 1-2 but, the Lions have looked the better team.

(1-2) Tennessee Titans @ Indianapolis Colts (1-1-1)

The Indianapolis Colts are the most baffling team I’ve seen in a long time. They failed to beat Houston, they got decimated by the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-0 but, somehow, they managed to beat the Kansas City Chiefs. They make no sense! The Colts sit second in the AFC South. As for Tennessee, they managed to earn a crucial first victory of the season in Nashville. The Titans look like a completely different team when Derrick Henry is on it. The Titans sit third in the AFC South, looking to climb up the table this week. Overall, I think the Titans will beat the Colts if, Derrick Henry is playing well. I have faith that he will though.

(2-1) Chicago Bears @ New York Giants (2-1)

The New York Giants weren’t quite able to continue their unbeaten start as they fell short against division rivals Dallas. However, they can still be happy with where they are after 3 weeks. The Giants sit third in the NFC East. As for Chicago, they managed to beat the Houston Texans to move to 2-1. However, they still don’t look like a very good team, particularly at Quarterback as Fields continues to struggle. The Bears sit third in the NFC North. Overall, I believe that the Giants will win this game. It will be pretty disappointing for them if they failed to win the game given how well they have started.

(2-1) Jacksonville Jaguars @ Philadelphia Eagles (3-0)

The Philadelphia Eagles have been really impressive in the first 3 weeks of the regular season. They managed a comfortable victory over the Washington Commanders but, they only scored points in 1 quarter. They are the only 3-0 team left in the NFC and want to go 4-0. As for Jacksonville, they managed to comfortably beat the Chargers in LA and genuinely look like they have a chance to compete for a spot in the playoffs. They sit atop of the AFC South, and it will be interesting to see if they can continue to be there over the following weeks. Overall, I think the Eagles will win this game because they are playing so well right now. However, I do think this game is the toughest for Philadelphia yet.
