NFL Week 11 Preview and Predictions: Part 1

Teams on a Bye Week:

Miami Dolphins (7-3)

Seattle Seahawks (6-4)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-5)

Jacksonville Jaguars (3-7)

(6-3) Tennessee Titans @ Green Bay Packers (4-6)

The Green Bay Packers picked up a huge victory last week against the Dallas Cowboys. The win means they stay second in the NFC North and they need to build off of their momentum. As for Tennessee, they got back to winning ways last week by defeating the Denver Broncos 17-10. The Titans currently sit in a comfortable first place in the AFC South. Overall, I am going with the Titans. The Packers’ win last week was impressive but I’m not sure if they’ll be able to keep it up. Either way, it’s going to be close.

(3-7) Chicago Bears @ Atlanta Falcons (4-6)

Last week, the Atlanta Falcons lost to division rivals Carolina. The Falcons are on a 2-match losing streak and they have dropped down to second in the NFC South as a result. As for Chicago, they suffered a pretty inexcusable loss at home to the Detroit Lions. It’s like the Bears want the best possible pick in the draft. The Bears now sit bottom of the NFC North. Overall, I am picking the Falcons. Neither team seems to be able to win a game at the moment so when that happens, I just pick the home team.

(3-6) Cleveland Browns @ Buffalo Bills (6-3)

The “so called” unbeatable Bills are becoming very beatable over the last few weeks. They suffered their second straight defeat last week in a cruel loss against the Minnesota Vikings. A few weeks ago, the Bills were the number 1 seed in the AFC. Now, they are ranked 3rd in the AFC East! As for Cleveland, they were simply thrashed by the Miami Dolphins (39-17). The Browns don’t look like a very good football team at the moment and they sit third in the AFC North as a result of it. Overall, I am picking the Bills. This SHOULD be a big bounce back victory for both Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.

(8-1) Philadelphia Eagles @ Indianapolis Colts (4-5-1)

Jeff Saturday is 1-0 as an NFL Head Coach. The Colts went to Las Vegas and beat the Raiders 25-20 to send everyone home very happy. The win means the Colts sit second in the AFC South. As for Philadelphia, their unbeaten run came to an end on Monday Night as they lost at home against division rivals the Washington Commanders (32-21). However, the Eagles are still top of the NFC East with the best record in the league. Overall, I am going with the Eagles. Philly can’t lose two in a row and Indianapolis can’t win two in a row, surely?

(6-3) New York Jets @ New England Patriots (5-4)

One of the best games of the weekend takes place in Foxborough as the New England Patriots host the New York Jets. The Patriots were on a two-game winning streak before they went into their bye. The Patriots are currently bottom of the AFC East but if the season ended today, the Patriots would be in the playoffs which is crazy. As for New York, they also took part in their bye week last week and they come into this week on a 1 game winning streak. The Jets currently sit second in the AFC East. Overall, I am going with the Patriots. This is an incredibly difficult game and that’s before you realise that the Jets are 4-0 on the road this year. This should be a hell of a game but I’m going to back Mac Jones to get it done in a game that will have massive playoff implications come week 18.

(3-6) Los Angeles Rams @ New Orleans Saints (3-7)

In my opinion, the New Orleans Saints suffered a season-ending loss last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. I just can’t see how they recover from such a shocking performance. The Saints are currently bottom of the NFC South. As for LA, they arguably suffered a season-ending loss at home to the Arizona Cardinals last week. The Rams currently sit bottom of the NFC West on a run of 3 losses. Overall, I am picking the Rams to win this game. The reason I put arguably for the Rams was because I see them winning this game and that could potentially give them some much needed momentum. They lose here and it’s definitely over though.

(3-6) Detroit Lions @ New York Giants (7-2)

The New York Giants made sure they wouldn’t slip on the banana peel that was the Houston Texans last week. The 24-16 win means they sit second in the NFC East, just 1 win behind the Philadelphia Eagles. As for Detroit, they managed to go to Chicago and beat the Bears 31-30 meaning they are now on a two-game winning streak which is quite mad. Those wins mean they Lions now sit third in the NFC North. Overall, I am picking the Giants to get the W. Even though the Lions are a much stronger team than the Texans, they are still just another banana peel trying to stop the New York Giants quite frankly incredible run. I expect the Giants to move to 8-2.
