NFL Week 10 Preview and Predictions: Part 2

(1-6-1) Houston Texans @ New York Giants (6-2)

The New York Giants come into Week 10 off the back of their bye week. The Giants currently sit 3rd in the NFC East and if they season ended today, they would make the playoffs. As for Houston, they suffered their third straight loss by losing to the Philadelphia Eagles. Hey, at least they kept it closer than it should have been (29-17). The Texans currently sit bottom of the AFC South and they also have the worst record in the entire league. Overall, I am picking the Giants. New York will never forgive themselves if they lose this game.

(3-6) New Orleans Saints @ Pittsburgh Steelers (2-6)

The Pittsburgh Steelers spent last weekend “off” due to it being their bye week. The Steelers haven’t won a game since Week 6 and they are bottom of the AFC North. As for New Orleans, they suffered another loss last weekend against the Baltimore Ravens. The Saints currently sit third in the NFC South and it feels certain that they will have to win their division if they are to make the playoffs this season. Overall, I am picking the Saints. Both teams have struggled in different ways this year but on paper, the Saints are the better side. Also, New Orleans can’t afford to lose this game.

(3-5-1) Indianapolis Colts @ Las Vegas Raiders (2-6)

The Las Vegas Raiders suffered a “season ending loss” last weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars. They were 17-0 up against a team with no confidence yet they managed to lose the game 27-20. The Raiders are bottom of the AFC West. As for Indianapolis, they suffered their third straight loss in a row last weekend as they got thrashed 26-3 by the New England Patriots. They have also sacked their head coach Frank Reich and they have replaced him with Jeff Saturday. The Colts currently sit second in the AFC South. Overall, I am picking the Raiders to win this game. Both teams aren’t very good and the Raiders deserve all the stick they get if they lose this game.

(6-2) Dallas Cowboys @ Green Bay Packers (3-6)

The Green Bay Packers were supposed to bounce back in style against the Detroit Lions last week. That didn’t happen though and they are now on a 5-game losing streak. The Packers are currently second in the NFC North. As for Dallas, they sat through their bye week knowing they’re in a good place. They may only be second in their division (NFC East) but if I was them, I know I would much rather be in their position than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (currently top of the NFC South). Overall, I am picking the Cowboys to win this game. When I say win, I mean win big!

(3-6) Arizona Cardinals @ Los Angeles Rams (3-5)

The Arizona Cardinals take on the Los Angeles Rams in a must win game for both sides. The LA Rams suffered a frustrating loss last weekend away to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They currently sit third in the NFC West. As for Arizona, they suffered a potentially damaging loss at home to the Seattle Seahawks. The loss means they are bottom of the NFC West; three games behind the division leaders Seattle. Overall, I am going with the Rams. In the end, neither team can afford to lose this game, so I am going with the team who has home field advantage.

(5-3) Los Angeles Chargers @ San Francisco 49ers (4-4)

Two teams hoping to play postseason football collide as the San Francisco 49ers take on the LA Chargers. The Niners come into this matchup fresh after being on their bye week. They currently sit second in the NFC West. As for the Chargers, they picked up an important win on the road against the Atlanta Falcons (20-17). The Chargers currently sit second in the AFC West. Overall, I am going with the Chargers. If the season ended today, both sides would make the playoffs as the number 7 seed so both teams will want to keep winning as many games as possible. Herbert VS Garoppolo is an intriguing matchup but for me, the Chargers come out on top.

(4-5) Washington Commanders @ Philadelphia Eagles (8-0)

The Philadelphia Eagles come into this game off the back of a 29-17 win over the Houston Texans on last week's Thursday Night Football. They now come into this week's Monday Night Football still the number 1 team in the league. As for Washington, they came up just short against the highflying Minnesota Vikings (20-17). They may be bottom of the NFC East but that doesn’t mean they are out of the playoff fight. It’s going to be tough but it’s not impossible. Overall, I am picking the Eagles. I just can’t see this game being the one that sees Philly lose for the first time this season.
