NFL Week 10 Preview and Predictions: Part 1

Teams on a Bye Week:

Baltimore Ravens (6-3)

New York Jets (6-3)

Cincinnati Bengals (5-4)

New England Patriots (5-4)

(4-5) Atlanta Falcons @ Carolina Panthers (2-7)

After just 2 weeks, the Atlanta Falcons and the Carolina Panthers must once again do battle. The Panthers got thrashed 42-21 in Cincinnati last week and a lose here could finish off their season. They currently sit bottom of the NFC South. As for Atlanta, they came up just 3 points short against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Falcons currently sit second in the NFC South, level on wins with the Bucs. Overall, I am going with the Falcons. A loss here would really hurt both teams and let's be honest, Carolina should have beaten Atlanta 2 weeks ago so they could easily get the win here. I just think the Falcons want it more.

(6-3) Seattle Seahawks @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5)

For the first time ever, the NFL will play in Germany! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers picked up a gigantically important victory over the Los Angeles Rams last week (16-13). The win puts them back up into first place in the NFC South. As for Seattle, they picked up their 4th successive win by beating the Arizona Cardinals 31-21. The Seahawks currently have a nice lead at the top of the NFC West. Overall, I am picking the Bucs. In my opinion, Seattle are the better team right now. If this was being played in America, I would pick the Seahawks. However, I can’t see past Brady having an incredible game to delight the Munich crowd.

(7-1) Minnesota Vikings @ Buffalo Bills (6-2)

God, this game promises to be good. The “best team” in football suffered a wake-up call last week when they lost to division rivals the New York Jets (20-17). They are still top of the AFC East but it’s super close between all four teams in the division. As for Minnesota, they went to Washington and beat the Commanders to extend their winning streak to six games. They are so far out in front when it comes to leading the NFC North. Overall, I am picking the Bills. The Bills losing last week creates a different dynamic coming into this game. The Vikings have more momentum, the Vikings have an overall better record, yet I’d still say that the Bills have a better team. This should be a lot of fun.

(2-6) Detroit Lions @ Chicago Bears (3-6)

The Chicago Bears came close to beating the Miami Dolphins last week, but they ended up losing by 3 (35-32). The Bears are currently third in the NFC North. As for Detroit, they managed to finally get another victory as they beat the Green Bay Packers. They still sit bottom of the NFC North, but they can look to build from last week's positive result. Overall, I am picking the Bears to win. This is a game that they should be winning. Also, Detroit are 0-3 on the road this season which doesn’t fill me with much hope.

(3-5) Denver Broncos @ Tennessee Titans (5-3)

The Tennessee Titans came close to beating the Chiefs in Kansas, but it clearly wasn’t too be. We’ll find out later down the line just how important that loss will be for the Titans season. They are still comfortably top of the AFC South. As for Denver, they come in off the back of their bye week. They currently sit third in the AFC West and they pretty much have to win every game to secure a spot in the playoffs. Overall, I am going with the Titans. Despite losing last week, the Titans should still be high on confidence, something the Denver Broncos definitely are not.

(3-6) Jacksonville Jaguars @ Kansas City Chiefs (6-2)

Last week, the Kansas City Chiefs proved why they are always so difficult to beat when they defeated the Tennessee Titans 20-17. Kansas currently lead the AFC West. As for Jacksonville, they actually picked up a win last week to just about keep their season alive. They currently sit third in the AFC South; there’s no reason as to why they can’t finish in second place come the end of the season. Overall, I am picking the Chiefs. I am 99.9% confident in this pick.

(3-5) Cleveland Browns @ Miami Dolphins (6-3)

Tua plays, Tua wins! The Miami Dolphins went to Chicago and beat the Bears in a closely fought contest (35-32). The Dolphins are currently third in the NFC East. As for Cleveland, they come into Week 10 off the back of a bye. Before that bye, they destroyed the Cincinnati Bengals. They currently sit third in the AFC North and they really need to continue to win games. Overall, I am going with the Dolphins. The reason is pretty simple!
