Champions League Preview: Quarter Final, Leg 2

Chelsea VS Real Madrid

Chelsea have it all to do after suffering a 2-0 loss at the Bernabeu last week. Chelsea are coming into this game off the back of a 2-1 loss at home to Brighton and they currently sit 11th in the Premier League. Real Madrid come into this game off the back of a 2-0 victory away to Cadiz and they currently sit second in LaLiga. Overall, it almost feels like Chelsea need a miracle to turn this game around, but I’m sure they’ll give it a go against a very talented Madrid side.

My Prediction: 1-3 (Madrid win 5-1 on aggregate)

Napoli VS A.C. Milan

Napoli host A.C. Milan in a very open contest after Milan's 1-0 win in the first leg. Napoli are coming into this game off the back of a 0-0 draw with Hellas Verona and they currently sit top of Serie A. A.C. Milan come into this game after a one-all draw with Bologna and they currently sit 4th in Serie A. Overall, Napoli will fancy their chances of continuing their excellent season, but Milan will be aware of the fact that the hosts aren’t playing as well as they were a couple of months ago.

My Prediction: 2-0 (Napoli win 2-1 on aggregate)

Inter Milan VS Benfica

It’s definitely advantage Inter heading into the second leg of this intriguing Champions League Quarter Final tie. Inter Milan are coming into this game off the back of a 1-0 loss at home to Monza and they currently sit 5th in Serie A. Benfica come into this game after suffering a defeat away to Chaves and they now only lead Liga Portugal by just 4 points. Overall, both teams aren’t playing particularly great at the moment so this game is definitely there for both teams to get the win and progress to the final 4, even if Inter lead 2-0 on aggregate coming into this match.

My Prediction: 1-1 (Inter win 3-1 on aggregate)

Bayern Munich VS Manchester City

Bayern Munich have it all to do in their second leg clash against Manchester City after losing 3-0 at the Etihad last Tuesday. Bayer Munich are coming into this game off the back of a one-all draw with TSG Hoffenheim and they currently sit top of the Bundesliga by just 2 points. Manchester City come into this game after beating Leicester City 3-1 and they currently sit second in the Premier League. Overall, it’s going to take something special from Bayern Munich to turn this tie around whilst Manchester City are definitely going to Munich looking to beat the German giants again.

My Prediction: 2-2 (City win 5-2 on aggregate)
