2024 NFL Week 6 Preview and Predictions: Part 1

Teams on Their Bye Week:

Kansas City Chiefs (5-0)

Minnesota Vikings (5-0)

Miami Dolphins (2-3)

Los Angeles Rams (1-4)

(2-3) San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks (3-2)

The Seattle Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers in what is a massive Thursday Night Football clash! The Seattle Seahawks suffered a poor loss at home to the New York Giants last time out, but they do still currently lead the NFC West as the only team with a positive record. As for San Francisco, they completely bottled it against the Arizona Cardinals last weekend and they currently sit third in the NFC West. In the end, I think Seattle will win this game! Honestly, there’s not much reason to believe in either team after last week’s showing, but I’ve lost all confidence in The 49ers ability to win so I’ve got to say The Seahawks!

(1-4) Jacksonville Jaguars @ Chicago Bears (3-2)

The Chicago Bears take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium! The Chicago Bears thrashed the Carolina Panthers in their last game, but they are still currently bottom of the NFC North (despite having a positive record)! As for Jacksonville, they finally got a win last weekend against The Colts, but they currently still remain bottom of the AFC South. In the end, I think Chicago will win this one! Even though The Jags have a great record in London, I think The Bears have got something going!

(2-3) Arizona Cardinals @ Green Bay Packers (3-2)

The Green Bay Packers won in Los Angeles last weekend (against The Rams) and they currently sit third in the NFC North. As for Arizona, they picked up a great win in San Francisco last time out and they currently find themselves second in the NFC West! In the end, The Packers should win this game. Green Bay look like a decent team, and they should be beating a team of the ability of The Cardinals!

(2-3) Indianapolis Colts @ Tennessee Titans (1-3)

The Tennessee Titans are coming off the back of a win and then a Bye and they currently sit third in the AFC South. As for Indianapolis, they suffered a disappointing result in Jacksonville last time out and they currently find themselves second in the AFC South. In the end, I think The Colts will just about edge this one! There are arguments to be made for why both teams could lose this game, but out of the two, I think Indy have more positives to get the win!

(4-1) Houston Texans @ New England Patriots (1-4)

The New England Patriots lost at home to the Miami Dolphins last time out and they currently find themselves bottom of the AFC East. As for Houston, they picked up a great win over the Buffalo Bills last weekend and they currently lead the AFC South as the only team with a positive record! In the end, I expect Houston to win this game easily! The Texans don’t come across to me as a team that slips up, and it’s not like The Patriots really have anything good going for them!

(3-2) Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints (2-3)

The Saints host The Buccaneers in a clash of two NFC South Rivals! The New Orleans Saints lost in Kansas City Monday Night and they currently sit third in the NFC South. As for Tampa Bay, they lost in Atlanta last Thursday Night and they currently find themselves second in the NFC South! In the end, I think The Bucs will just about edge this! New Orleans haven’t looked very good at all recently, and I think Tampa Bay will have just about enough to get over the line with a W!

(1-4) Cleveland Browns @ Philadelphia Eagles (2-2)

The Philadelphia Eagles enter Week 6 off the back of a Bye and they currently sit third in the NFC East. As for Cleveland, they got thrashed in Washington last time out and they currently find themselves third in the AFC North! In the end, I would expect The Eagles to win this game! Even if it’s not been clicking for Philly so far this season, they are still a much better team than Cleveland!
