(1-1) New England Patriots @ New York Jets (1-1)
Thursday Night Football plays host to another AFC East clash as this time, The Jets host The Patriots! The New York Jets picked up an important win in Tennessee and they are currently third in the AFC East! As for New England, they lost in overtime at home to the Seattle Seahawks and they currently sit second in the AFC East! In the end, I’d expect The Jets to win this game. I think it’s going to be a close game, I wouldn’t write The Patriots off just yet, but I think New York will have enough to get the job done!
(0-2) New York Giants @ Cleveland Browns (1-1)
The Cleveland Browns won in Jacksonville last weekend and they now find themselves second in the AFC North! As for New York, they lost in a tight game in Washington and they are currently bottom of the NFC East as the only team yet to get a win on the board! In the end, I fully expect Cleveland to win this game. The Browns are by far the better side here!
(1-1) Green Bay Packers @ Tennessee Titans (0-2)
The Tennessee Titans lost at home to the New York Jets last weekend and they are currently bottom of the AFC South! As for Green Bay, they picked up a good win over the Indianapolis Colts last time out, but they are still currently bottom of the NFC North! In the end, I think The Packers will just about have enough to win this game. This could really go either way, but Green Bay are stronger than Tennessee overall!
(1-1) Chicago Bears @ Indianapolis Colts (0-2)
The Indianapolis Colts lost in Green Bay last weekend and they currently sit second in the AFC South! As for Chicago, they lost to The Texans Sunday Night and they are currently third in the NFC North! In the end, I think The Colts will win this game. This is another close one to call, but I think Indy will just nick it!
(2-0) Houston Texans @ Minnesota Vikings (2-0)
The Minnesota Vikings host the Houston Texans in a clash of 2 perfect sides! The Minnesota Vikings picked up a great victory over the San Francisco 49ers last week and they currently lead the NFC North as the only team with a positive record! As for Houston, they got past the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night and they currently lead the AFC South as the only team with a win on the board! In the end, I think Houston will win this game. It might be silly to go against The Vikings given what happened last week, but I don’t think they’ll put off another surprise result (but that doesn’t mean they can’t)!
(1-1) Philadelphia Eagles @ New Orleans Saints (2-0)
The New Orleans Saints went to Dallas last weekend to decimate The Cowboys and they currently lead the NFC South! As for Philadelphia, they suffered a surprising 1-point defeat to The Falcons Monday Night and they are currently second in the NFC East. In the end, I think The Saints will win this one! Given the first two weeks of the season, there’s absolutely no reason to go against New Orleans here!
(2-0) Los Angeles Chargers @ Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0)
The Pittsburgh Steelers picked up a win in Denver last weekend and they currently lead the AFC North as the only team with a positive record! As for LA, they stuffed the Carolina Panthers last time out and they currently lead the AFC West! In the end, I’m going to back The Chargers to win this one! Both teams are off to perfect starts, but I ultimately rate LA higher than Pittsburgh!
(0-2) Denver Broncos @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers picked up a terrific win in Detroit last weekend and they currently find themselves second in the NFC South! As for Denver, they lost at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers last time out and they are currently bottom of the AFC West as the only team without a win to their name! In the end, I expect Tampa Bay to win this game comfortably. There’s honestly a big gulf in quality between these two sides, and I’d be stunned if The Bucs didn’t take advantage of it!
