2024 NFL Week 18 Preview and Predictions

(3-13) Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens (11-5)

Credit: ClutchPoints

The Baltimore Ravens host the Cleveland Browns knowing a win would wrap up the AFC North Title! The Baltimore Ravens smashed the Houston Texans 31-2 on Christmas Day and they currently lead the AFC North! As it stands, The Ravens own the Number 3 seed! As for Cleveland, they lost comfortably at home to the Miami Dolphins last time out and they currently sit bottom of the AFC North! If the season ended today, The Browns would end up with the joint-worst record in the entire league! In the end, I expect The Ravens to walk this! I’d be stunned if Baltimore didn’t end up as AFC North Champions!

(8-8) Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers (10-6)

The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Cincinnati Bengals in what is a huge Saturday Night Football clash! The Pittsburgh Steelers lost again on Christmas Day against the Kansas City Chiefs and they currently find themselves second in the AFC North! As it stands, The Steelers are occupying the AFC’s Number 5 seed! As for Cincinnati, they picked up a crucial win over the Denver Broncos last time out and they currently sit third in the AFC North! If the season ended today, The Bengals would just miss out on a Playoff spot! In the end, I’m actually going to say that Cincinnati win this game! I think The Steelers have lost it honestly, and I firmly believe that The Bengals are up for making Sunday an even more exciting day!

(4-12) Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons (8-8)

The Atlanta Falcons lost in overtime in Washington Sunday Night and they currently sit second in the NFC South! As it stands, The Falcons need a win plus a loss for The Buccaneers if they’re to make the Playoffs! As for Carolina, they got smashed in Tampa Bay last time out and they currently find themselves bottom of the NFC South! If the season ended today, The Panthers would be the NFC’s second-worst team! In the end, this should be a win for The Falcons, but I’m going to back The Panthers! I don’t know, I can just see Atlanta messing it up yet again!

(11-5) Washington Commanders @ Dallas Cowboys (7-9)

The Dallas Cowboys got smashed 41-7 in Philadelphia last time out and they currently sit third in the NFC East! As it stands, The Cowboys are well out of Playoff contention! As for Washington, they managed to edge out the Atlanta Falcons in overtime Sunday Night and they currently find themselves second in the NFC East! If the season ended today, The Commanders would take the Number 6 seed in the NFC Playoffs! In the end, I am going to say that Washington will clinch the Number 6 seed! The Commanders have had a great year, and the same cannot be said for The Cowboys!

(4-12) Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers (11-5)

The Green Bay Packers suffered a 2-point loss in Minnesota last weekend and they currently sit third in the NFC North! As it stands, The Packers are already through to the Playoffs! As for Chicago, they lost 6-3 against the Seattle Seahawks last weekend and they currently find themselves bottom of the NFC North as the only team with a negative record! If the season ended today, The Bears would be the NFC’s third-worst team! In the end, I fully expect Green Bay to win this one! This should be easy for The Packers!

(9-7) Houston Texans @ Tennessee Titans (3-13)

The Tennessee Titans lost in Jacksonville last weekend and they currently sit bottom of the AFC South! As it stands, The Titans have the joint-worst record in the entire league! As for Houston, they got smashed by the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas Day, but they do still currently lead the AFC South! If the season ended today, The Texans would take the Number 4 seed! In the end, I’m going to say that The Texans will win this game! However, it will make no difference to Houston’s seeding!

(4-12) Jacksonville Jaguars @ Indianapolis Colts (7-9)

The Indianapolis Colts suffered a terrible loss in New York (against The Giants) last weekend and they currently find themselves second in the AFC South! As it stands, The Colts are completely out of Playoff contention! As for Jacksonville, they managed to beat the Tennessee Titans last time out and they currently sit third in the AFC South! If the season ended today, The Jaguars would end up as the AFC’s 5th-worst team! In the end, I’m going to say that Indy will win this one! My oh my was last week’s loss costly!

(13-3) Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots (3-13)

The New England Patriots got smashed 40-7 at home against the Los Angeles Chargers last weekend and they currently sit bottom of the AFC East! As it stands, The Patriots are the worst team in the entire league! As for Buffalo, they thumped the New York Jets last time out and they currently lead the AFC East! If the season ended today, The Bills would take the Number 2 seed! In the end, I fully expect Buffalo to win this game! Even though they will most likely rotate, I still can’t see The Patriots winning anything!

(3-13) New York Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles (13-3)

The Philadelphia Eagles destroyed the Dallas Cowboys 41-7 last weekend and they currently lead the NFC East! As it stands, The Eagles have already guaranteed themselves as the NFC’ Number 2 seed! As for New York, they actually managed to win last time out against the Indianapolis Colts, but they are still currently bottom of the NFC East! If the season ended today, The Giants would be the NFC’s worst! In the end, I expect Philly to win comfortably here! Again, The Eagles will rotate, but I don’t think that’ll change the outcome!

(5-11) New Orleans Saints @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-7)

Credit: NFL on YouTube

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one win away from winning yet another NFC South Title! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers stuffed the Carolina Panthers last weekend and they currently lead the NFC South! As it stands, The Buccaneers occupy the NFC’s Number 4 seed! As for New Orleans, they lost at home to the Las Vegas Raiders last time out and they currently sit third in the NFC South! If the season ended today, The Saints would end up as the NFC’s 4th-worst team! In the end, I’d be stunned if Tampa Bay didn’t win this game! If The Bucs don’t win the NFC South, that’s honestly a massive calamity!

(15-1) Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncos (9-7)

Credit: NFL on YouTube

All the pressure falls on the Denver Broncos with a win guaranteeing them a place in this year’s Playoffs! The Denver Broncos suffered a tough overtime loss in Cincinnati last weekend and they currently sit third in the AFC West! As it stands, The Broncos are just about holding onto a Playoff spot! As for Kansas City, they picked up a good win in Pittsburgh on Christmas Day and they currently lead the AFC West! If the season ended today, The Chiefs would convincingly take the AFC’s Number 1 seed! In the end, I think The Chiefs are going to win here! Even with a second team, I just think Denver are going to mess it up (which sucks for them)!

(10-6) Los Angeles Chargers @ Las Vegas Raiders (4-12)

Credit: NFL on YouTube

The Las Vegas Raiders made it 2 wins on the bounce in New Orleans last weekend, but they are still currently bottom of the AFC West as the only team with a negative record! As it stands, The Raiders are the 5th-worst team in the AFC! As for LA, they confirmed a Playoff place with a thumping win in New England last time out and they currently sit second in the AFC West! If the season ended today, The Chargers would take the Number 6 seed! In the end, I think LA will win this game and take the Number 5 seed as a result! If that happens, The Chargers are looking good!

(9-7) Seattle Seahawks @ Los Angeles Rams (10-6)

Credit: ClutchPoints

The Los Angeles Rams sealed the NFC West Title last weekend with a win over the Arizona Cardinals and they obviously currently lead the NFC West as a result! As it stands, The Rams have all but secured the Number 3 seed! As for Seattle, their win in Chicago last time out just wasn’t quite enough as they currently sit second in the NFC West! If the season ended today, The Seahawks would end up as the best team in the league who didn’t make the Playoffs! In the end, I think The Rams will win this game! However, it would be typical for Seattle to win it!

(8-8) Miami Dolphins @ New York Jets (4-12)

Credit: New York Jets

The New York Jets got smashed in Buffalo last weekend and they currently sit third in the AFC East! As it stands, The Jets own the 7th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft! As for Miami, they cruised to victory in Cleveland last time out and they currently find themselves second in the AFC East! If the season ended today, The Dolphins would miss out on the Playoffs! In the end, I think Miami will sneak into the Playoffs with a win here! I called it as soon as Tua Tagovailoa came back from injury so I’m sticking by it!

(6-10) San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals (7-9)

Credit: NFL on YouTube

The Arizona Cardinals lost against the Los Angeles Rams last time out and they currently sit third in the NFC West! As it stands, The Cardinals are already guaranteed their finishing position! As for San Francisco, they lost again Monday Night against the Detroit Lions and they currently find themselves bottom of the NFC West! If the season ended today, The 49ers would end up a long way from the Playoffs! In the end, I think Arizona will win here! Gosh do The 49ers need a reset before next year!

(14-2) Minnesota Vikings @ Detroit Lions (14-2)

Credit: NFL on YouTube

The final game of the 2024 NFL Regular Season is a blockbuster encounter as the Detroit Lions host the Minnesota Vikings with both the NFC North and Number 1 seed Titles on the line! The Detroit Lions picked up a strong victory in San Francisco Monday Night and they currently lead the NFC North! As it stands, The Lions own the Number 1 seed! As for Minnesota, they picked up a great win over the Green Bay Packers last time out and they currently sit second in the NFC North! If the season ended today, The Vikings would have to settle for just the Number 5 seed! In the end, I believe Detroit will wrap everything up here! I think The Lions are the better team, but you can’t count out The Vikings because that would be unfair!
