Teams on Their Bye Week:
Houston Texans (8-5)
Baltimore Ravens (8-5)
Washington Commanders (8-5)
Denver Broncos (8-5)
Indianapolis Colts (6-7)
New England Patriots (3-10)
(9-3) Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions (11-1)
Potentially the game of the season so far takes place on Thursday Night Football as the Detroit Lions play host to the Green Bay Packers! The Detroit Lions edged past Chicago last Thursday and they currently lead the NFC North! As it stands, The Lions have the Number 1 record in the NFC! As for Green Bay, they picked up a good win over the Miami Dolphins last time out and they currently sit third in the NFC North! If the season ended today, The Packers would take the NFC’s Number 6 seed! In the end, I think Detroit will edge this one! Both teams are having terrific seasons so far, but I cannot vote against The Lions right now!
(2-10) Jacksonville Jaguars @ Tennessee Titans (3-9)
The Tennessee Titans got smashed in Washington last weekend and they currently sit third in the AFC South! As it stands, The Titans are all but out of Playoff contention! As for Jacksonville, they lost by 3 points at home to the Houston Texans last time out and they currently find themselves bottom of the AFC South! If the season ended today, The Jags would finish as the second-worst team in the AFC! In the end, I think The Titans will win this game! Both teams suck, but Jacksonville are without QB Trevor Lawrence so that’s sort of the reason why I’m backing Tennessee!
(3-9) New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins (5-7)
The Miami Dolphins lost in Green Bay on Thanksgiving Night and they currently find themselves second in the AFC East! As it stands, the odds of The Dolphins making the Playoffs are very slim! As for New York, they lost at home against the Seattle Seahawks last time out and they currently sit third in the AFC East! In the end, I expect Miami to win this game! The Dolphins should be far too much for The Jets to handle!
(6-6) Atlanta Falcons @ Minnesota Vikings (10-2)
The Minnesota Vikings host the Atlanta Falcons in what is a big game for both sides! The Minnesota Vikings once again edged out a win last week (over the Arizona Cardinals) and they currently sit second in the NFC North! As it stands, The Vikings occupy the Number 5 seed in the NFC! As for Atlanta, they lost again last time out against The Chargers, but they are still currently top of the NFC South! If the season ended today, The Falcons would take the NFC’s Number 4 seed! In the end, I expect Minnesota to win here! With The Lions taking on The Packers, this is a big opportunity that The Vikings cannot afford to squander!
(4-8) New Orleans Saints @ New York Giants (2-10)
The New York Giants lost in Dallas on Thanksgiving Thursday and they currently find themselves bottom of the NFC East! As it stands, The Giants are the only NFC side without any chance of making the Playoffs! As for New Orleans, they lost to the LA Rams last time out and they currently sit third in the NFC South! If the season ended today, The Saints would be the 4th-worst team in the NFC this year! In the end, I do expect New Orleans to win this one! As much as The Saints have struggled in 2024, they’re still a better Football team than The Giants!
(3-9) Carolina Panthers @ Philadelphia Eagles (10-2)
The Philadelphia Eagles picked up another great win away in Baltimore last weekend and they currently lead the NFC East! As it stands, The Eagles occupy the NFC’s Number 2 seed! As for Carolina, they lost in overtime to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last time out and they currently sit bottom of the NFC South! If the season ended today, The Panthers would finish as the second-worst team in the NFC! In the end, Philly should win this easily! The Eagles look like another team that are pretty unstoppable right now!
(3-9) Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers (9-3)
The Pittsburgh Steelers picked up a great win in Cincinnati last time out and they currently lead the AFC North! As it stands, The Steelers occupy the AFC’s Number 3 seed! As for Cleveland, they lost in Denver Monday Night and they currently sit bottom of the AFC North! If the season ended today, The Browns would come nowhere close to a Playoff spot! In the end, this is a game The Steelers should absolutely be winning! Especially when you consider that Pittsburgh lost in Cleveland back in Week 12!
