The AFC Championship game sees the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens at M@T Bank Stadium. The Baltimore Ravens thrashed the Houston Texans last weekend and they return to the AFC Championship game for the first time since 2013 (they went on to win the Super Bowl). As for Kansas City, they pulled out a great performance to beat The Bills in Buffalo last time out and they enter this weekend off the back of 4-straight wins. It’s worth mentioning that this is The Chiefs’ 6th-straight AFC Championship appearance (they’re 3-2). In terms of my Prediction, I think The Chiefs will just about edge it. The Ravens and The Chiefs were my two top teams during my Regular Season Predictions (both 15-2) and this is an incredibly tight game to choose. However, the Kansas City pattern states that they have to make the Super Bowl again this year!
(12-5) Detroit Lions (3) @ (1) San Francisco 49ers (12-5)
In the NFC Championship, the San Francisco 49ers host the Detroit Lions for a spot in Super Bowl 58! The San Francisco 49ers just about got past the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round and they’re about to enter their third-successive NFC Championship game (they’ve lost the previous two). As for Detroit, they beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last weekend and they’re looking for a win that would take them to their first-ever Super Bowl! In terms of my Prediction, I think The 49ers will get the job done. This is another close one to call given the momentum behind Detroit, but I just feel like The Niners will win this game, as long as they play at their best!
