Tottenham 4-1 West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur breezed past London Rivals West Ham United to pick up an important 3 points! After 18 minutes, West Ham had the lead as Mohammed Kudus scored after some weak defending by Destiny Udogie! 18 minutes later though and it was 1-1 as Dejan Kulusevski managed to squeeze the ball past the line! 7 minutes into the Second Half and Tottenham had the lead as Yves Bissouma finished well after a nice team move! Just 3 minutes after that and it was 3-1 as Alphonse Areola scored an unfortunate own goal before Heung-Min Son made it 4-1 in the 60th! Amazingly, Son then hit the post almost immediately after the restart before West Ham went up the other end and saw Kudus’ effort blocked on the line! Towards the end of the game and things got worse for the visitors as Mohammed Kudus was sent off after a clash with Micky van de Ven! Overall, this is much better from Tottenham Hotspur! Spurs rise to 7th in the league and they host AZ on Thursday before an away trip to Crystal Palace! As for West Ham United, this was bad from their point of view! The Hammers drop to 15th in the table and they host Manchester United next time out!

Southampton 2-3 Leicester

A late, late goal ensured a massive comeback for Leicester City! After hitting the crossbar early on, it was Southampton who managed to find themselves in front as Cameron Archer tapped home from close range! In the 28th minute, it was 2-0 to Southampton as Joe Aribo managed to find the back of the net! Bilal El Khannous then came close for Leicester as his effort struck the post before Leicester did have one back in the 64th minute through Facundo Buonanotte! Abdul Fatawu then smashed the crossbar for the visitors before Leicester were awarded a penalty after Ryan Fraser pulled back Jamie Vardy! In fact, Fraser was sent off for this, and it was Vardy who stepped up and scored to make it 2-2! And then, in the 98th minute, Jordan Ayew somehow managed to squeeze the ball past Aaron Ramsdale to complete a sensational turnaround for the visitors! In the end, Southampton will be yet again kicking themselves for conceding so late on! The Saints stay inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th) and they go to Manchester City next time out! Fulham 1-3 Aston Villa

After just 5 minutes, Fulham had the lead as Raul Jimenez once again found the back of the net with a great finish! Just 4 minutes later though and Aston Villa were level as Morgan Rogers’ effort took a massive deflection off of Calvin Bassey which left Bernd Leno no chance! Fulham were then awarded a penalty after the ball struck the hand of Matty Cash, but Andreas Pereira’s terrible penalty was easily saved by Emiliano Martinez! In the 59th minute, Aston Villa had the lead as Ollie Watkins scored with a terrific headed effort before things got worse for the hosts as Joachim Andersen was shown a straight Red Card (for the denial of a clear goal-scoring opportunity)! Just 5 minutes after that and it was 3-1 to Villa as Issa Diop managed to put the ball into the back of his own net! And before the game was over, the visitors were then down to 10-men as Jaden Philogene-Bidace was shown a second Yellow Card! In the end, things could’ve been so different for Fulham on another day! Villa rise to 4th in the league and they host Bologna in the Champions League tonight before they play Bournemouth on Saturday!

Liverpool 2-1 Chelsea

Liverpool edged past Chelsea to remain at the summit! After Levi Colwill fouled Curtis Jones in the box, Mohamed Salah stepped up and scored to give Liverpool the lead after 29! Nicolas Jackson then struck the post before the referee awarded another penalty to Liverpool after a coming together between Robert Sanchez and Curtis Jones. Ultimately, the decision was (rightly) overturned by VAR! Just 3 minutes into the Second Half and Chelsea were level as Nicolas Jackson finished really well! However, just 3 minutes after that and Liverpool were back in front through Curtis Jones! The defending was definetly questionable, but the ball in from Mo Salah was great! Overall, this is an important win for Liverpool! The Reds remain top of the league and they face a huge week with away trips to RB Leipzig and Arsenal! As for Chelsea, they just weren’t quite good enough here! The Blues drop to 6th in the table and they go to Panathinaikos on Thursday followed by a big home game against Newcastle!

Wolves 1-2 Manchester City

Another late John Stones goal helped Manchester City to a massive 3 points over an unfortunate Wolverhampton Wanderers! After just 7 minutes, Wolves had the lead as Jorgen Strand Larsen finished well after a terrific ball across from Nelson Semedo! Jose Sa then pulled out a great stop to deny Bernardo Silva before Nelson Semedo was in on goal, only for his effort to be saved by Ederson! In the 33rd minute, Manchester City were level as Josko Gvardiol scored yet again with a terrific strike! Jose Sa then pulled out another good save, this time to keep out Savinho before he then kept Ruben Dias’ effort out! And then, in the 95th minute, John Stones headed home to give Manchester City a massive 3 points! Now, there was a lot of controversy surrounding this with the referees and VAR, but I think this was clearly the right decision! In the end, this is a heartbreaking loss for Wolverhampton Wanderers! Wolves remain bottom of the league and they go to Brighton next time out! As for Manchester City, this is a big win for them! City remain second in the league and they host both Sparta Prague and Southampton in the upcoming week!

The Bees drop to 13th in the table and they host Ipswich next time out!

Bournemouth 2-0 Arsenal

AFC Bournemouth pulled out a superb result to stun Arsenal at the Vitality! After originally being given a Yellow Card, an on-field review resulted in William Saliba being shown a straight Red Card for pulling back Evanilson! To be fair, I get why this was given as a Red! David Raya then nearly made a mess of things, but he made up for it with a decent save before Antoine Semenyo had a good chance which he poorly blazed over! Kepa then made a big save to deny Gabriel Martinelli before Bournemouth had the lead in the 70th minute as Ryan Christie thumped the ball into the back of the net! A defensive error at the back from Arsenal then led to a Bournemouth penalty, and it was Justin Kluivert who stepped up and scored to seal all 3 points for the hosts! Overall, what a special win this is for AFC Bournemouth! The Cherries rise to 11th in the table and they go to Aston Villa next time out! As for Arsenal, this was pretty bad for them! The Gunners remain third in the league and they host Shakhtar Donetsk tonight before their massive league game with Liverpool on Sunday!

Ipswich 0-2 Everton

Jack Clarke had a really good chance for Ipswich which he completely made a mess of before a terrible mistake by Wes Burns led to Iliman Ndiaye firing Everton in front inside 17 minutes! Ipswich then thought they had a penalty, but that was overturned by VAR before Everton’s lead doubled in the 40th minute thanks to a great finish by Michael Keane! In the Second Half, both teams had good opportunities to score, but they just couldn’t beat the Goalkeepers! In the end, it’s another game without a win for Ipswich Town! In the 35th minute, it was Brighton who had the lead as Danny Welbeck showed great composure to find the back of the net! In the Second Half, Anthony Gordon had multiple good opportunities to find a leveller for Newcastle United, but his end product was terrible! In the end, this was a poor loss for Newcastle United! The Magpies drop to 9th in the table and their next game is a big one away at Chelsea! As for Brighton and Hove  Albion, what a win this was for them! The Seagulls rise to 5th in the league and they host Wolves next time out!

And then, in the 65th minute, Nottingham Forest finally had the lead as Chris Wood scored after some questionable goalkeeping by Dean Henderson!
