Liverpool 3-1 Southampton

Liverpool came from behind to beat Southampton and further extend their lead at the top of the Table! Curtis Jones had a decent opportunity to score which he dragged wide before amazingly, in additional time at the end of the First Half, Southampton had the lead as Will Smallbone scored after a shocking bit of play from Alisson and Virgil van Dijk! Darwin Nunez arguably then should’ve been sent off for kicking through Kyle Walker-Peters, and I think this is poor officiating! Just 6 minutes into the Second Half, though, and Liverpool were back level as Nunez found the back of the net! Just a few minutes later, Liverpool were awarded a penalty after a coming together between Nunez and Smallbone, and it was Mohamed Salah who stepped up and scored to completely turn the game on its head! Another penalty was then awarded after a handball by Yukinari Sugawara, and it was Mo Salah who stepped up and scored again to seal another victory for the hosts! Overall, it’s another win for Liverpool! The Reds remain top of the league and they play PSG in the Champions League tonight and Newcastle in the Carabao Cup Final on Sunday before their next league game against Everton (in April)! As for Southampton, things just didn’t go their way here! The Saints remain bottom of the league and they host Wolves in a huge game next time out!
Tottenham 2-2 Bournemouth

Despite leading 2-0, AFC Bournemouth couldn’t hold on as Tottenham Hotspur fought back to earn a point! After a terrible error by Cristian Romero, Gugilemo Vicario pulled out a good save to deny Evanilson before, in the 42nd minute, Bournemouth had the lead through Marcus Tavernier thanks to a terrific cross by Milos Kerkez! In the Second Half, Justin Kluivert had a terrific goal ruled out for offside before Heung-Min Son’s effort clipped the outside of the post! In the 65th minute, Bournemouth did have their second as Evanilson finished coolly! However, just 2 minutes later, and Tottenham had one back thanks to a fluke of a goal by Pape Sarr before Justin Kluivert struck the post! And then, after Kepa Arrizabalaga stupidly brought down Heung-Min Son, Son stepped up and scored to rescue a point for Spurs! In the end, Tottenham Hotspur did well to get back into this game! Spurs remain 13th in the table and they host AZ Alkmaar Thursday Night followed by an away trip to Fulham! As for AFC Bournemouth, this was a massive opportunity missed for them! The Cherries drop to 9th in the league and they host Brentford next time out!
Brighton 2-1 Fulham

A late, late, late winner was enough for Brighton and Hove Albion to move firmly into Champions League contention! After 35 minutes, Fulham had the lead as Raul Jimenez finished well after a great ball in from Alex Iwobi! Just 6 minutes later, though, and Brighton were back on level terms courtesy of a Jan Paul van Hecke header! The defending from Fulham is so poor here! In the Second Half, Joao Pedro had a great opportunity to score which he failed to take before Danny Welbeck made a complete mess of his headed opportunity! And then, with almost the last kick of the game, Brighton were awarded a penalty after Joachim Andersen committed a foul, and it was Joao Pedro who stepped up and scored a 98th-minute winner! Overall, this is a big result for Brighton and Hove Albion! The Seagulls rise to 7th in the league and their next game is a big one away at Manchester City! As for Fulham, this loss will hurt them! The Cottagers drop to 10th in the table and they host Tottenham next time out!
Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal

Neither Manchester United nor Arsenal managed to pick up the win they so desperately wanted! Leandro Trossard had a decent opportunity which he failed to hit the target with before in additional time at the end of the First Half, Manchester United had the lead thanks to a terrific strike by Bruno Fernandes! In the Second Half, David Raya pulled out a great save to deny Noussair Mazraoui before Joshua Zirkzee had a great chance which he struck straight at Raya! In the 74th minute, it was 1-all as Declan Rice managed to fire Arsenal back on level terms before Bruno Fernandes had the chance to win the game for Man United, but David Raya was once again there to make the save! In the end, Manchester United had more than enough chances to win this game! United remain 14th in the table and they have a big Europa League game against Real Sociedad on Thursday followed by an away trip to Leicester! As for Arsenal, it’s another game that they haven’t managed to win! The Gunners stay second in the league and they host PSV and Chelsea in the next week!
Wolves 1-1 Everton

Everton had a decent chance to score which Beto couldn’t quite connect with before Jordan Pickford made a decent save to deny Marshall Munetsi! After 33 minutes, it was Everton who had the lead as Jack Harrison scored after a deflection off of Matt Doherty! Just 7 minutes later, though, and Wolves were back level thanks to Marshall Munetsi’s first goal for the club! In the Second Half, Pablo Sarabia came insanely close to giving Wolves the lead following a terrific free kick before Jose Sa made an important save to deny Beto! In the end, this is a decent point for Wolverhampton Wanderers! Wolves remain 17th in the table and their next game is a big one away at Southampton! As for Everton, they’re really not playing for much anymore! The Toffees rise to 15th in the league and they host West Ham next time out!
Nottingham Forest 1-0 Manchester City

Nottingham Forest edged out Manchester City to pick up a huge 3 points in their fight for Champions League Football! Erling Haaland was unlucky as his effort deflected just wide of the post before Nico Gonzalez fired an effort straight onto the post! In the Second Half, Ederson managed to pull out a terrific save to push Callum Hudson-Odoi’s effort onto the post before Kevin De Bruyne had a decent opportunity which he failed to hit the target with! In the 83rd minute, it was Nottingham Forest who took the lead as Callum Hudson-Odoi scored after some questionable goalkeeping from Ederson! Mateo Kovacic then had a chance to equalise for Man City late on, but his effort flew just wide of the post! Overall, this is a great win for Nottingham Forest! Forest remain third in the league and they head to Ipswich next time out! As for Manchester City, they’ll be so disappointed with themselves here! City drop to 5th in the table and their next game is a massive one at home to Brighton!
Brentford 0-1 Aston Villa

Tyrone Mings had a really good opportunity to give Aston Villa the lead which he tamely struck straight at Mark Flekken before Villa had the lead in the 49th minute as Ollie Watkins scored after a terrible bit of goalkeeping by Mark Flekken! Just a minute later, and Villa thought they had a second through Morgan Rogers, but his goal was ruled out for an extremely tight offside! Keane Lewis-Potter then came close to equalising for Brentford as his effort came back off the post before Brentford were wanting a penalty after Axel Disasi brought down Kevin Schade! This was a close one to call, but the ref decided no penalty! In the end, it’s another disappointing home defeat for Brentford! The Bees drop to 12th in the table and they go to Bournemouth next time out! As for Aston Villa, this was a really good win for them! Villa rise to 8th in the league and they host Club Brugge tomorrow and head to Preston at the end of the month before their next league game away at Brighton!
Chelsea 1-0 Leicester

Chelsea were awarded a penalty after Victor Kristiansen clipped Jadon Sancho, but amazingly, Cole Palmer stepped up and saw his penalty saved by Mads Hermansen! Tosin Adarabioyo then managed to head the ball onto his own crossbar before finally, in the 60th minute, Chelsea had the lead thanks to a great strike by Marc Cucurella! Chelsea then had a couple more chances to extend their lead, but they simply weren’t clinical enough! Overall, it’s a win for Chelsea which is all that matters right now! The Blues rise to 4th in the league and they host FC Copenhagen on Thursday before they head for a massive away game at Arsenal! As for Leicester City, they didn’t do anything here! The Foxes remain inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th) and they host Manchester United next time out!
West Ham 0-1 Newcastle

Tomas Soucek had a golden opportunity to give West Ham the lead inside 60 seconds, but he poorly blasted the ball over the bar before Newcastle had a couple of chances that were kept out well by Alphonse Areola! In the Second Half, Areola pulled out a terrific save to stop his team from conceding an own goal before Alexander Isak somehow missed on the rebound! In the 63rd minute, Newcastle had the lead as Bruno Guimaraes’ touch was enough to find the back of the net! In the end, West Ham’s winning run has already come to an end! The Hammers drop to 16th in the table and they head to Everton next time out! As for Newcastle United, this is a good win for them! The Magpies rise to 6th in the league and they take on Liverpool in the Carabao Cup Final on Sunday before they host Brentford in their next league game (in April)!
Crystal Palace 1-0 Ipswich

Eddie Nketiah had a decent chance to score which was saved by Alex Palmer before Dean Henderson pulled out a decent save to keep Julio Enciso’s effort out! In the Second Half, Eberechi Eze’s came close as his deflected effort came back out of the post before Ismaila Sarr was there to clear Jaden Philogene-Bidace’s effort off the line! Sarr then had a chance at the other end which he headed just wide before Ben Johnson had a great opportunity to fire Ipswich in front which he failed to hit the target with! And then, in the 82nd minute, Ismaila Sarr managed to find the back of the net to give Crystal Palace their winning goal! Overall, it’s another win for Crystal Palace! The Eagles rise to 11th in the table and they go to Fulham in the FA Cup in 2 week’s time before they take on Southampton in their next league game! As for Ipswich Town, they arguably shouldn’t have lost this game! The Tractor Boys remain inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th) and they host Nottingham Forest next time out!
