Crystal Palace 4-1 Aston Villa

Crystal Palace pulled out a terrific performance to thump Aston Villa! After 29 minutes, Crystal Palace took the lead as Ismaila Sarr tapped home on the rebound! Despite having a goal ruled out in the 42nd minute, in the 52nd minute, the game was all square again as Morgan Rogers wasn’t to be denied a second time! Just 7 minutes later, though, and Crystal Palace were back in front as Jean-Philippe Mateta fired home! In the 71st minute, it was 3-1 as Sarr scored his second goal of the game before Eddie Nketiah got Palace’s 4th in the 91st minute! Overall, what a win this is for Crystal Palace! The Eagles rise to 12th in the table and they host Millwall and Ipswich in their next 2 games! As for Aston Villa, this was bad! Villa drop to 10th in the league and they host Cardiff on Friday and head to Club Brugge before their next league game at Brentford!
Manchester United 3-2 Ipswich

Despite being down to 10 men, Manchester United were able to hold on and beat Ipswich Town! After less than 4 minutes, Ipswich had the lead as Jaden Philogene-Bidace scored after a shocking bit of play by Patrick Dorgu! In the 22nd minute, it was 1-1 as Sam Morsy headed the ball into the back of his own net before Matthijs de Ligt gave Manchester United the lead just 4 minutes later! Things then got worse for Patrick Dorgu as he was shown a straight Red Card for a terrible-looking challenge, and in additional time at the end of the First Half, the game was level again as Philogene-Bidace got his second of the evening! Just 2 minutes into the Second Half, though, and Man United were back in front thanks to Harry Maguire! Overall, it’s a win for Manchester United which is at least something! United rise to 14th in the table and they host Fulham in the FA Cup and head to Real Sociedad in the Europa League before their next league game against Arsenal! As for Ipswich Town, they let this game go! The Tractor Boys remain inside the Relegation Zone (in x) and they go to Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup before they face Crystal Palace in the league!
Chelsea 4-0 Southampton

After Cole Palmer struck a decent opportunity straight at Aaron Ramsdale, Chelsea had the lead from the following corner as Christopher Nkunku headed home at the back post! Filip Jorgensen then pulled out a decent save to keep Paul Onuachu’s effort out before Cole Palmer had another great chance which he somehow put wide! In the 36th minute, it was 2-0 as Pedro Neto got on the act before Levi Colwill added a third just before Halftime! And then, in the 78th minute, Marc Cucurella fired home to give the hosts a 4th! Overall, this was pretty easy for Chelsea! The Blues rise to 5th in the table and they head to FC Copenhagen next week before they host Leicester in the league! As for Southampton, there’s just no point watching them anymore! The Saints remain bottom of the league and they head to Liverpool next time out!
Brighton 2-1 Bournemouth

Brighton and Hove Albion picked up another important win as AFC Bournemouth lost for the second straight game! After the referee awarded a penalty for a collision between Joao Pedro and Kepa Arrizabalaga, Pedro stepped up and scored to fire Brighton in front after just 12 minutes! Kaoru Mitoma was then unlucky not to double Brighton’s lead as his effort came back off the post before Justin Kluivert levelled things up at 1-1 with an unbelievable strike! And then, in the 75th minute, Danny Welbeck’s effort hit the post and went in to ultimately give Brighton the victory! Overall, this is a really good result for Brighton and Hove Albion! The Seagulls rise to 8th in the table and they go to Newcastle in the FA Cup followed by an important league game against Fulham! As for AFC Bournemouth, they’re potentially starting to struggle a little! The Cherries drop to 7th in the league and they host Wolves in the FA Cup followed by an away trip to Tottenham!
Wolves 1-2 Fulham

After less than 60 seconds, Fulham took the lead as Ryan Sessegnon finished well! Joao Gomes then had a great opportunity to score which he poorly blasted over the bar before, just 2 minutes later, and Wolves were level as Gomes wasn’t to miss again! Inside 2 minutes in the Second Half, and Fulham were back in front as Rodrigo Muniz found the back of the net! Honestly, I have no idea what Jose Sa was doing here! Raul Jimenez then had a good opportunity to score against his former club, but he could only direct the ball into the path of Jose Sa before Jimenez had another chance which he struck wide of the target! In the end, Wolverhampton Wanderers simply weren’t good enough here! Wolves remain 17th in the table and they head to Bournemouth in the FA Cup on Saturday before they host Everton in their next league game! As for Fulham, this is a good win for them! The Cottagers rise to 9th in the league and they face Manchester United in the FA Cup before an important league game away at Brighton!
Liverpool 2-0 Newcastle

Liverpool cruised past Newcastle United to extend their points lead even further! After just 11 minutes, Liverpool had the lead as Dominik Szoboszlai scored for the second-straight game! Callum Wilson then had a great chance to equalise which he poorly scuffed off target before Szoboszlai had another good chance which he guided just wide! In the 63rd minute, Liverpool’s lead doubled as Alexis Mac Allister smashed the ball into the back of the net! This was really poor from Newcastle, they made this far too easy for their opponents to score! The hosts then had a couple more opportunities to further extend their lead, but they just couldn’t quite find the target! Overall, it’s yet another win for Liverpool! The Reds remain top of the league and they head to PSG next Wednesday before they host Southampton! As for Newcastle United, they weren’t good enough here! The Magpies drop to 6th in the table and they host Brighton in the FA Cup on Sunday followed by an away trip to West Ham!
West Ham 2-0 Leicester

Despite Mads Hermansen doing a great job to deny Mohammed Kudus from scoring, in the 21st minute, West Ham had the lead as Tomas Soucek finished off the rebound! Just a couple of minutes before Halftime, and West Ham’s lead doubled courtesy of a Jannik Vestergaard own goal! Overall, this was pretty straight forward for West Ham United! The Hammers rise to 15th in the table and they host Newcastle next time out! As for Leicester City, they didn’t do anything here! The Foxes remain inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th) and their next game takes place away at Chelsea!
Brentford 1-1 Everton

Beto had a great opportunity to give Everton the lead, but he lacked composure against Mark Flekken before he had one-on-one opportunity which was again saved by Flekken! Just before Halftime, Brentford found themselves in front as after Bryan Mbeumo hit the crossbar, Yoane Wissa was there to head home the rebound! In the Second Half, Yoane Wissa found the back of the net again, but this time his goal was ruled out for offside before Everton had their equaliser in the 77th minute courtesy of a Jake O’Brien header! Beto then had a chance to win it for Everton late on, but Mark Flekken denied him yet again! In the end, Brentford will be disappointed with their performance here! The Bees remain 11th in the league and they host Aston Villa next weekend! As for Everton, they had more than enough chances to win this game! The Toffees drop to 16th in the table and they head to Wolves next time out!
Tottenham 0-1 Manchester City

Manchester City picked up an important victory away at Tottenham Hotspur to boost their Top 4 hopes! After just 12 minutes, Manchester City had the lead as Erling Haaland finished off a nice bit of play by Jeremy Doku! Savinho then had a golden chance to make it 2-0 which he somehow guided over before Haaland had another chance which was saved by Guglielmo Vicario! In the Second Half, Wilson Odobert had a great chance to score which he couldn’t guide on target before Ederson made a good save to deny Heung-Min Son! In additional time, Erling Haaland thought he’d grabbed a second, but his goal wasn’t given for a handball! Firstly, VAR spent about 4 minutes looking at this, and secondly, how this wasn’t a goal is beyond me! Amazingly, Tottenham then had a golden chance to equalise straight away, but Pape Sarr headed over! In the end, Tottenham Hotspur had plenty of chances to get a result here! Spurs drop to 13th in the table and they head to AZ Alkmaar next week before they host Bournemouth in the league! As for Manchester City, they needed this win! City remain 4th in the league and they take on Plymouth and Nottingham Forest in their next 2 games!
Nottingham Forest 0-0 Arsenal

Riccardo Calafiori was unlucky as his effort came back off the post before Chris Wood had a decent opportunity which was saved well by David Raya! Martin Odegaard then had 2 good chances to win it for Arsenal towards the end, but he was denied both times! I have to say, given this was 2nd against 3rd, the quality was really poor! In the end, this isn’t a bad point for Nottingham Forest! Forest remain third in the table and they host Ipswich in the FA Cup on Monday before they host Manchester City in a massive league clash! As for Arsenal, it’s more points lost for them! The Gunners stay second in the league and they face a big couple of games away at PSV and Manchester United!
