Newcastle 4-3 Nottingham Forest

Newcastle United held on to pick up a key 3 points over Nottingham Forest! After just 6 minutes, Nottingham Forest had the lead as a mess at the back from Newcastle led to Callum Hudson-Odoi firing Forest in front early! In the 23rd, the game was all square as Lewis Miley equalised before, just 2 minutes, and Newcastle were ahead through Jacob Murphy! Newcastle were then awarded a penalty in the 33rd minute for a handball against Ola Aina, and it was Alexander Isak who stepped up and scored before, just 2 minutes later, Newcastle had another goal as Isak scored yet again! In the Second Half, Fabian Schar was unlucky as his headed effort came back off the post before Forest had one back in the 63rd minute through Nikola Milenkovic! In the 90th minute, it was 4-3 was Ryan Yates got himself onto the scoresheet, but it still wasn’t quite enough for the visitors to get anything from the game! Overall, this is an important win for Newcastle United! The Magpies rise to 5th in the table and they head to Liverpool next time out! As for Nottingham Forest, it’s another defeat for them! Forest remain third in the league and their next game is a huge one at home to Arsenal!

 


Ipswich 1-4 Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur made it 3-straight league wins as Ipswich Town suffered another heavy defeat! After just 18 minutes, Tottenham had the lead as Brennan Johnson tapped home from close range after a great bit of play by Heung-Min Son! In the 26th minute, it was 2-0 as Johnson and Son combined again before Ipswich had one back 10 minutes later through Omari Hutchinson! In the 77th minute, it was 3-1 as Djed Spence’s effort took a defection and went in before Dejan Kulusevski scored a great goal in the 84th minute to seal all 3 points for Spurs! In the end, it’s another defeat for Ipswich Town! The Tractor Boys remain inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th) and they head to Manchester United Wednesday Night! As for Tottenham Hotspur, this is much better from them! Spurs remain 12th in the table and they host Manchester City next time out!

 


Leicester 0-4 Brentford

After Mark Flekken pulled out a good save to deny Jamie Vardy, Brentford should’ve had a penalty after Kevin Schade was clearly fouled by Woyo Coulibaly, but the referee thought otherwise! After 17 minutes, Brentford did have the lead as Yoane Wissa scored after a great pass from Mikkel Damsgaard! In the 27th minute, it was 2-0 as Bryan Mbeumo scored before Christian Norgaard headed home just 5 minutes later to make it 3-0 to the visitors after just 32 minutes! In the Second Half, Mads Hermansen made a great save to deny Brentford a 4th before, in the 89th minute, it was 4-0 as Fabio Carvalho took advantage of some terrible Leicester defending! In the end, it’s another terrible performance by Leicester City! The Foxes remain inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th) and they head to West Ham Thursday Night! As for Brentford, they did well here! The Bees remain 11th in the table and they host Everton next time out!

 


Southampton 0-4 Brighton

After Aaron Ramsdale pulled out a decent save to deny Georginio Rutter, Kaoru Mitoma had a golden opportunity to give Brighton the lead, but he somehow put it just wide! However, after 23 minutes, Brighton did finally have the lead as Joao Pedro finished coolly! In the 56th minute, it was 2-0 as Georginio Rutter scored following a great pass from Yankuba Minteh! In the 71st minute, it was 3-0 as Kaoru Mitoma got his goal before, in the 82nd minute, Jack Hinshelwood made it 4 to wrap up an emphatic victory for the visitors! In the end, this was just pathetic from Southampton! The Saints remain bottom of the league and they take on Chelsea tomorrow! As for Brighton and Hove Albion, they did what they needed to here! The Seagulls rise to 9th in the league and they host Bournemouth next time out!

 


Everton 2-2 Manchester United

Despite being 2-0 down, Manchester United managed to come away from Goodison Park with a share of the points against Everton! After 19 minutes, it was Everton who had the lead as Beto finished well! In the 33rd minute, it was 2-0 as despite Andre Onana making the initial save, Abdoulaye Doucoure was there to head home on the rebound and double Everton’s lead! In the Second Half, Onana pulled out another decent save, this time to deny Doucoure before Manchester United had one back in the 72nd minute thanks to a terrific free kick by Bruno Fernandes! In the 80th minute, it was 2-2 as Manuel Ugarte volleyed home superbly before Bruno Fernandes forced Jordan Pickford to pull out a vital stop! In additional time, the referee awarded Everton a penalty, but VAR overturned it (which was fair enough)! In the end, this is definitely 2 points dropped for Everton! The Toffees stay 14th in the league and they go to Brentford next time out! As for Manchester United, they did well to recover a point from this game! United remain 15th in the table and they host Ipswich on Wednesday!

 


Aston Villa 2-1 Chelsea

Aston Villa came from behind to pick up an important 3 points over Chelsea! After just 9 minutes, Chelsea had the lead as Enzo Fernandez tapped home after a great bit of play by Pedro Neto! Filip Jorgensen then remained big to keep Ollie Watkins’ effort out before Cole Palmer’s effort deflected just wide of the post! In the 57th minute, Aston Villa were back on level terms as Marco Asensio managed to bundle the ball over the line before Cole Palmer had a great opportunity which he made an absolute mess of! And then, in the 89th minute, Aston Villa found a winning goal as Marco Asensio scored again following a terrible bit of goalkeeping by Filip Jorgensen! Overall, this was a much-needed win for Aston Villa! Villa rise to 8th in the table and they go to Crystal Palace tomorrow! As for Chelsea, it’s another defeat for them! The Blues drop to 7th in the league and they host Southampton next time out!

 


Manchester City 0-2 Liverpool

Liverpool may have already put one hand on this year’s Premier League trophy with a great 2-0 win away at Manchester City! After just 14 minutes, Liverpool had the lead as Mohamed Salah finished off what was clearly a training ground routine! Whilst Salah’s effort did take a deflection off Nathan Ake, this was still a great team goal! Omar Marmoush then had a goal ruled out for a clear offside before Liverpool had their second in the 37th minute through Dominik Szoboszlai! In the 56th minute, Curtis Jones thought he’d made it 3-0, but his goal was also ruled out for offside before Ederson made a good save to deny Luis Diaz! In the end, it’s just another game where Manchester City have been outclassed! City stay 4th in the table and they head to Tottenham next time out! As for Liverpool, they looked unstoppable here! The Reds remain top of the league and their next game is an important one at home to Newcastle!



Fulham 0-2 Crystal Palace

After Bernd Leno pulled off a couple of saves to deny Eberechi Eze, Crystal Palace had the lead in the 37th minute courtesy of a Joachim Andersen own goal! In the Second Half, Jean-Philippe Mateta had a goal ruled out for offside before Palace had their second in the 66th minute as Daniel Munoz fired home! The build-up play by Mateta was absolutely superb! In the end, it’s another game that Fulham haven’t shown up in! The Cottagers drop to 10th in the league and they head to Wolves tomorrow! As for Crystal Palace, it’s another 2-0 away win for them! The Eagles remain 13th in the table and they host Aston Villa next time out!

 


Arsenal 0-1 West Ham

West Ham United pulled out their biggest win of the season as Arsenal’s Title hopes took a major hit! Jarrod Bowen had a decent opportunity which he completely scuffed before Bowen got his goal right before Halftime after a great ball in from Aaron Wan-Bissaka! In the 73rd minute, things got worse for Arsenal as Myles Lewis-Skelly was sent off for denying Mohammed Kudus a goal-scoring opportunity before Gabriel had a good opportunity which he completely missed the mark with! In the end, this is a disaster of a result for Arsenal! The Gunners remain second in the league and they face Nottingham Forest in a must-win game on Wednesday! As for West Ham United, what a win this is for them! The Hammers stay 16th in the table and they host Leicester next time out!

 


Bournemouth 0-1 Wolves

AFC Bournemouth’s Champions League push took a bit of a hit as Wolverhampton Wanderers picked up a massive 3 points in their fight for survival! Nelson Semedo hit the post for Wolves early on before Kepa Arrizabalaga pulled out a terrific save to deny Jean-Ricner Bellegarde! Jose Sa then came out well to stop Justin Kluivert from getting a proper effort on goal before Illia Zabarnyi was shown a straight Red Card for a high challenge on Rayan Ait Nouri! After 36 minutes, it was Wolves who had the lead as Matheus Cunha finished well! In the Second Half, Marshall Munetsi had a golden opportunity to make it 2-0 which he somehow put wide, but it ultimately didn’t come back to cost his team! In the end, this was not the result that AFC Bournemouth were expecting! The Cherries drop to 6th in the league and their next game is a big one away at Brighton tomorrow! As for Wolverhampton Wanderers, this is a big win for them! Wolves remain 17th in the table and they host Fulham next time out!
