Nottingham Forest bounced back in some style to put 7 past a woeful Brighton and Hove Albion! After just 12 minutes, Nottingham Forest were gifted the lead through a Lewis Dunk own goal! In the 25th minute, it was 2-0 as Morgan Gibbs-White headed home before Chris Wood made it 3-0 in the 32nd minute with a header of his own! Matz Sels then pulled out a great save to tip Danny Welbeck’s effort onto the crossbar before Wood made it 4-0 in the 64th! Forest were then awarded a penalty after Tariq Lamptey committed a foul, and it was Chris Wood who stepped up and scored to complete his hat-trick! In the 89th minute, it was 6-0 as Neco Williams finished it off on the rebound before Jota Silva made it 7 after a terrible pass from Bart Verbruggen! Overall, this is a special win for Nottingham Forest! Forest remain third in the league and they go to Exeter in the FA Cup next week followed by Fulham in the league! As for Brighton and Hove Albion, this is bad! The Seagulls drop to 10th in the table and they host Chelsea in each of their next two games!

Arsenal kept their Title hopes alive with a 5-1 thumping of the Champions! After less than 2 minutes on the clock, Arsenal had the lead as Martin Odegaard scored after a terrible error by Manuel Akanji! David Raya then pulled off a great save to tip Josko Gvardiol’s effort onto the crossbar before Kai Havertz missed a golden opportunity after Stefan Ortega took his turn to be terrible at the back! In the 55th minute, Manchester City were back on level terms as Erling Haaland scored with a really good header! However, less than a minute later, and Arsenal were back in front as Thomas Partey’s effort took a big deflection off John Stones! Just 6 minutes later, and it was 3-1 as Myles Lewis-Skelly fired one home before Kai Havertz made it 4-1 in the 76th! And then, in the 93rd minute, Arsenal sealed the win in style through Ethan Nwaneri! Overall, this is a statement win for Arsenal! The Gunners remain second in the league and they take on Newcastle in the Carabao Cup tonight before they face Leicester next weekend! As for Manchester City, their defence is only getting worse! City drop to 5th in the table and they face Leyton Orient and Real Madrid before they play Newcastle in their next league time!

After just 10 seconds, Everton had the lead as Abdoulaye Doucoure scored after an assist from Jordan Pickford! Just 5 minutes later, and it was 2-0 to Everton as Beto found the back of the net! Just before Halftime, it was 3-0 as Beto scored again after weak Leicester defending before Jesper Lindstrom had a good opportunity which he struck straight at Mads Hermansen before Iliman Ndiaye made it 4-0 in the 90th minute after more woeful defending! Overall, it’s another win for Everton under David Moyes! The Toffees remain 16th in the table and they host Bournemouth in the FA Cup this weekend before they take on Liverpool in the league! As for Leicester City, I cannot believe how bad they are defensively! The Foxes drop back inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th) and they go to Manchester United on Friday before they host Arsenal in their next league fixture!

Ipswich 1-2 Southampton

Southampton picked up their first win in the league since November as Ipswich Town slipped up big time! After 21 minutes, it was Southampton who found themselves in front through Joe Aribo, but I have to say that the goalkeeping here from Arijanet Muric is poor! In the 31st minute, Ipswich were level as Liam Delap held his nerve to slot the ball past Aaron Ramsdale! Nathan Broadhead then had a good opportunity which was saved well by Ramsdale before Julio Enciso had a couple of good opportunities which he failed to take! And then, in the 87th minute, Paul Onuachu scored on the rebound to earn Southampton a vital 3 points! In the end, this is a terrible result for Ipswich Town! The Tractor Boys stay inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th) and they go to Coventry on the weekend before they face Aston Villa next week! As for Southampton, they needed this! The Saints remain bottom of the league and they host Burnley and Bournemouth in their next 2 games!

Newcastle 1-2 Fulham

Sandro Tonali was unlucky as his effort came smashing back off the crossbar before Newcastle had the lead in the 37th minute through Jacob Murphy! In the Second Half, Raul Jimenez had a great chance to score which was blocked well by Dan Burn, but in the 61st minute, Jimenez wasn’t to be denied again as he fired Fulham back level! Raul’s effort did take a big deflection off Murphy, though. Joe Willock then had a golden chance to score, but he completely missed the ball before Alexander Isak smashed the crossbar! And then, in the 82nd minute, Fulham had their winner as Rodrigo Muniz got a slight touch on the ball! In the end, this isn’t good enough for Newcastle United! The Magpies stay 6th in the league and they face Arsenal in the Carabao Cup and Birmingham in the FA Cup before they face Manchester City in their next league game! As for Fulham, this is a great win for them! The Cottagers rise to 9th in the table and they face Wigan and Nottingham Forest in their next two fixtures!

Chelsea 2-1 West Ham

Noni Madueke had a good chance to score which he put wide before Enzo Fernandez had a good opportunity which he too dragged wide! In the 42nd minute, it was West Ham who found themselves in front as Jarrod Bowen finished well after a terrible back pass from Levi Colwill! In the 64th minute, Chelsea were back level as Pedro Neto managed to fire home on the rebound before Chelsea had the lead in the 74th minute thanks to an own goal by Aaron Wan-Bissaka! Overall, it’s a win which is all that matters for Chelsea! The Blues rise back into the Top 4 and they go to Brighton in each of their next 2 fixtures! As for West Ham United, things just didn’t go their way here! The Hammers drop to 15th in the table and they host Brentford next time out!

Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

AFC Bournemouth’s strong unbeaten run came to an end as Liverpool proved why this is their Title to lose! Antoine Semenyo was unlucky as his effort came flying back off the woodwork before Liverpool were awarded a penalty after Lewis Cook clipped Cody Gakpo! It was then Mohamed Salah who stepped up and scored to give Liverpool the lead after 30! David Brooks then thought he’d equalised for Bournemouth, but his goal was rightly ruled out for offside before Allison pulled out a big save to deny Semenyo! Marcus Tavernier then came close as he smashed the post before Justin Kluivert missed on the rebound, and I cannot understand how he's missed here! And then, in the 75th minute, Mo Salah finished the game off with a terrific finish! In the end, AFC Bournemouth had more than enough chances to get something from this game! The Cherries remain 7th in the table and they face away trips to Everton and Southampton in their near future! As for Liverpool, this is such a good win for them! The Reds remain top of the league and they face Tottenham and Plymouth in the next week before their next league game away at Everton!

Wolves 2-0 Aston Villa

Wolverhampton Wanderers picked up a much-needed victory as Aston Villa’s poor post-Champions League form continues! After just 12 minutes, Wolves had the lead as Jean-Ricner Bellegarde managed to trick Emiliano Martinez and fire his effort straight at the near post! Matheus Cunha then had a great chance to make it 2-0 which he failed to take (his effort was saved by Emi Martinez) before Goncalo Guedes dragged his effort wide on the rebound! Guedes then had another great chance to score which he again dragged wide before Martinez was then out to deny the Portuguese striker! In the Second Half, Aston Villa thought they were level through Donyell Malen, but the goal was ruled out for offside which in my opinion was definitely the wrong decision! Malen then had another chance which was this time saved by Jose Sa before, in the 97th minute, Wolves’ win was secured by none other than Matheus Cunha! Overall, this is a positive win for Wolverhampton Wanderers! Wolves climb out of the Relegation Zone (and into 17th) and they go to Blackburn and Liverpool in their next two fixtures! As for Aston Villa, this is a poor result for them! Villa stay 8th in the league and they host Tottenham in the FA Cup on Sunday followed by Ipswich in the league!

Brentford 0-2 Tottenham

Yoane Wissa had a decent opportunity which he failed to keep down before Tottenham had the lead in the 29th minute courtesy of a Vitaly Janelt own goal! Yoane Wissa then had another good chance to score which he again failed to keep down before Djed Spence was there to clear the ball off the line! And then, in the 87th minute, Pape Sarr finished well to seal all 3 points for Spurs! In the end, this is a poor defeat for Brentford! The Bees remain 11th in the league and they go to West Ham next time out! As for Tottenham Hotspur, they needed this! Spurs rise to 14th in the table and they face Liverpool (Carabao Cup), Aston Villa (FA Cup), and Manchester United in their next 3 games!

Manchester United 0-2 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace pulled out a great Old Trafford victory as Manchester United lost yet another home game! Kobbie Mainoo came close to giving Manchester United the lead as his deflected effort came back off the post before Daniel Munoz had a great opportunity to score which he headed over! Ismaila Sarr then came within a whisker of giving Crystal Palace the lead before Jean-Philippe Mateta had a great chance of his own which he also saw go just wide (thanks to a great save by Andre Onana)! In the Second Half, Dean Henderson was ready to make a couple of good saves before, in the 64th minute, Mateta was there on the rebound to fire Crystal Palace in front! And then, in the 89th minute, Jean-Philippe Mateta scored again to seal all 3 points for the visitors! In the end, it’s another poor performance from Manchester United! United drop to 13th in the table and they host Leicester on Friday before they go to Tottenham for their next league game! As for Crystal Palace, it’s another strong win for them! The Eagles rise to 12th in the league and they face Doncaster and Everton in their next 2 fixtures!
