2023 NFL Week 9 Preview and Predictions: Part 2

(5-2) Seattle Seahawks @ Baltimore Ravens (6-2)

The Baltimore Ravens host the Seattle Seahawks in what should be a really entertaining game. The Baltimore Ravens made it 3 wins on the spin last week (with a win in Arizona) and they currently lead the AFC North with a really good 6-2 record. As for Seattle, they picked up an important victory at home to the Cleveland Browns last time out and they currently lead the NFC West with a really good 5-2 record. In terms of my Prediction, I’m going to say that The Ravens will win this game. It’s a close one to call, but I think Baltimore should just have enough due to being at home.

(3-4) Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Houston Texans (3-4)

The Houston Texans suffered a really disappointing 13-15 loss in Carolina last weekend and they currently sit second in the AFC South with a 3-4 record. As for Tampa Bay, they lost for the third consecutive game last time out (thanks to the Buffalo Bills) and they are currently third in the NFC South with a slightly disappointing record of 3-4. In terms of my Prediction, I’m backing The Texans. This is a really big game for both teams and it’s one where I expect C. J. Stroud to outplay Baker Mayfield.

(3-5) Indianapolis Colts @ Carolina Panthers (1-6)

The Carolina Panthers finally picked up a victory last weekend (at home to the Houston Texans), but they are still bottom of the NFC South with a poor 1-6 record. As for Indianapolis, they lost again last week (at home to the New Orleans Saints) and they currently sit third in the AFC South with a record of 3-5. In terms of my Prediction, I think The Colts will win this game. Indy should be good enough to beat Carolina (in my opinion).

(2-6) New York Giants @ Las Vegas Raiders (3-5)

The Las Vegas Raiders lost in Detroit in last week’s Monday Night Football and they currently sit third in the AFC West with a disappointing 3-5 record. As for New York, they lost in a terrible game against the New York Jets and they are currently bottom of the NFC East with a weak 2-6 record. In terms of my Prediction, I am going to pick The Raiders to beat The Giants. Considering Las Vegas have completely changed themselves this week, it would be a disaster for them if they weren’t able to beat a poor Giants side.

(5-2) Dallas Cowboys @ Philadelphia Eagles (7-1)

In one of the games of the season so far, the 7-1 Philadelphia Eagles host the 5-2 Dallas Cowboys in a clash between two NFC East Rivals. The Philadelphia Eagles just about won in Washington last weekend and they currently lead the NFC East with a great 7-1 record. As for Dallas, they thrashed the Los Angeles Rams last time out and they are currently second in the NFC East with a good record of 5-2. In terms of my Prediction, I’m going to back The Eagles. The fact that both of these teams are undefeated at home this season made my mind up for me.

(5-3) Buffalo Bills @ Cincinnati Bengals (4-3)

In another terrific game, Sunday Night Football plays host to The Bills taking on The Bengals in Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Bengals pulled out a brilliant win in San Francisco in Week 8, but they are still bottom of the AFC North with a decent 4-3 record. As for Buffalo, they beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in last week’s Thursday Night Football and they currently sit second in the AFC East with a decent 5-3 record. In terms of my Prediction, I think Cincinnati will win this game. Whilst Josh Allen has been playing well this year, Joe Burrow steps up in these types of occasions and I think he’ll do it again Sunday Night.

(3-4) Los Angeles Chargers @ New York Jets (4-3)

The New York Jets welcome the Los Angeles Chargers to MetLife Stadium for a Monday Night Football clash. The New York Jets beat the New York Giants last weekend and they currently sit third in the AFC East with an alright record of 4-3. As for LA, they comfortably beat the Chicago Bears in last week’s Sunday Night Football and they are currently second in the AFC West with a slightly disappointing 3-4 record. In terms of my Prediction, I fully expect The Chargers to get the job done in this one. If Justin Herbert and The Chargers play well in this game, they’ll definitely win.
