(0-1) Minnesota Vikings @ Philadelphia Eagles (1-0)
The Philadelphia Eagles started their season with a 25-20 victory on the road at the New England Patriots. Philadelphia are currently third in the NFC East. As for Minnesota, they lost (20-17) in their home opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and they are currently third in the NFC North. In the end, I’m picking The Eagles to win on Thursday Night Football. Philly are a stronger team than Minnesota, and last week's results only further prove that.
(1-0) Green Bay Packers @ Atlanta Falcons (1-0)
The Atlanta Falcons comfortably beat the Carolina Panthers last week (24-10) and they are currently top of the NFC South. As for Green Bay, The Packers destroyed the Chicago Bears in Chicago (38-20) and they currently lead the NFC North. In the end, I’m going to say that Atlanta wins this game. The Packers were impressive last week, but I feel like The Falcons are going to be a tougher test. I also rate Desmond Ridder more than I do Jordan Love (even if Love did play excellently last week).
(1-0) Las Vegas Raiders @ Buffalo Bills (0-1)
The Buffalo Bills started their season by suffering a disappointing overtime loss on Monday Night Football against Division Rivals the New York Jets. Buffalo are currently bottom of the AFC East. As for Las Vegas, they pulled out a good victory against Divisional Rivals Denver and they are currently top of the AFC West as the only team in the Division to pick up a victory. In the end, I’m actually going to pick Las Vegas to win this game. I’m sure Buffalo are massive favourites and they probably deserve to be. However, The Bills were pretty poor on Monday and there’s no reason to say why that can’t/won’t continue against a Raiders team with a Quarterback who knows how to win.
(1-0) Baltimore Ravens @ Cincinnati Bengals (0-1)
AFC North Rivals Baltimore and Cincinnati clash in an exciting Week 2 matchup. The Cincinnati Bengals were absolutely thrashed by the Cleveland Browns last week in a shocking display (3-24)! Cincinnati are currently third in the AFC North. As for Baltimore, they picked up an impressive 25-9 win over the Houston Texans last week, and they currently sit second in the AFC North. In the end, I’m going to pick Baltimore to win this game. I don’t know why, but I always feel like it takes a while for Cincinnati to get firing on all cylinders whilst Baltimore have the opposite effect. I expect that to happen again this weekend.
(0-1) Seattle Seahawks @ Detroit Lions (1-0)
The Detroit Lions stunned the Kansas City Chiefs (21-20) on the opening night of the 2023 NFL Season, and they currently occupy second spot in the NFC North. As for Seattle, The Seahawks were both stunned and thrashed (30-13) at home by Division Rivals the LA Rams last week and they currently find themselves bottom of the NFC West as a result. In the end, I’m picking Detroit to win this game. Last week's proceedings have changed my views on both of these teams, and I’d be very confused myself if Detroit went on to lose this game.
(0-1) Los Angeles Chargers @ Tennessee Titans (0-1)
The Tennessee Titans narrowly lost 15-16 to the New Orleans Saints in Week 1, and they currently sit second in the AFC South. As for LA, the Los Angeles Chargers lost 36-34 in a thrilling opening game against the Miami Dolphins. The Chargers sit bottom of the AFC West. In the end, I believe The Chargers should win this game comfortably. Both teams will feel a little bit unfortunate to be 0-1 to start the season and I can’t see the LA Chargers going 0-2.
(0-1) Chicago Bears @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers picked up a good 20-17 victory against the Minnesota Vikings last week, and they are currently second in the NFC South. As for Chicago, The Bears were thrashed at home by the Green Bay Packers (38-20) in Week 1, and they are currently bottom of the NFC North as a result. In the end, I’m picking Tampa to go 2-0. When you look at last week’s results, this feels like a no-brainer. With that being said, I look forward to writing about Chicago being 1-1 next week!
Kansas City Chiefs @ Jacksonville Jaguars (1-0)
The Jacksonville Jaguars started their season with a good 31-21 win away to Division Rivals Indianapolis. The Jags are currently top of the AFC South as the only team with a victory (in the Division). As for Kansas City, they were stunned last week at home by the Detroit Lions, and they find themselves in second place in the AFC West. In the end, I’m picking The Jaguars to knock The Chiefs to 0-2. This is a really exciting game between two fantastically talented Quarterbacks and I think Trevor Lawrence can beat Patrick Mahomes. It’ll be hard, but it is doable.
