(7-7) New Orleans Saints @ Los Angeles Rams (7-7)
The Los Angeles Rams welcome the New Orleans Saints to SoFi Stadium for a key Thursday Night Football clash. The Los Angeles Rams beat the Washington Commanders last weekend, and as it stands, they sit second in the NFC West with a 7-7 record which also sees them occupy the 7th seed in the NFC. As for New Orleans, they stuffed the New York Giants last time out and they are currently second in the NFC South at .500. If the season ended today, The Saints would just miss out on a Playoff spot. In terms of my Prediction, I’m going to back The Rams to win this game. Neither team can really afford to lose this game, and I’m backing LA to beat New Orleans simply because I feel that they are the better side.
(8-6) Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers (7-7)
The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Cincinnati Bengals in a huge AFC North matchup. The Pittsburgh Steelers lost for the third-straight game last week (at The Colts) and they currently sit bottom of the AFC North with a frustrating 7-7 record. As it stands, The Steelers are not in a Playoff spot. As for Cincinnati, they stretched their winning streak to 3 games with a great victory over the Minnesota Vikings, and if the season ended today, finishing third in the AFC North with a decent record of 8-6 would be enough for them to take the AFC’s Number 6 seed. In terms of my Prediction, I’m going with The Bengals in this one. Cincinnati have seemingly turned their season around whilst Pittsburgh’s season’s capitulating.
(8-6) Buffalo Bills @ Los Angeles Chargers (5-9)
The Los Angeles Chargers were stuffed 63-21 in Las Vegas last time out and they currently sit bottom of the AFC West with a poor 5-9 record. As it stands, The Chargers are basically out of Playoff contention. As for Buffalo, they picked up a hell of a win over the Dallas Cowboys last week (in some style too) and they are currently second in the AFC East with a decent 8-6 record. However, if the season ended today, The Bills would not make the Playoffs. In terms of my Prediction, I fully expect Buffalo to beat LA in this one. The Bills are looking good again all of a sudden whilst The Chargers are a complete and utter mess!
(8-6) Indianapolis Colts @ Atlanta Falcons (6-8)
The Atlanta Falcons suffered a horrendous defeat in Carolina last weekend and they currently sit third in the NFC South with a disappointing 6-8 record. As it stands, The Falcons are only the 10th-best team in the NFC. As for Indianapolis, they picked up a big win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last time out, and if the season ended today, finishing second in the AFC South with an 8-6 record would be enough for them to just sneak into the Playoffs. In terms of my Prediction, I think The Colts will win this one. I can’t really back The Falcons after their defeat to The Panthers last week.
(7-7) Seattle Seahawks @ Tennessee Titans (5-9)
The Tennessee Titans were beaten at home by the Houston Texans in Week 15 and they currently sit bottom of the AFC South with a disappointing 5-9 record. As it stands, The Titans are already out of Playoff contention. As for Seattle, they picked up a hell of a win over the Philadelphia Eagles last Monday Night and they are currently third in the NFC West at .500. If the season ended today, The Seahawks would just miss out on the Playoffs. In terms of my Prediction, Seattle should win this game and that’s why I’m predicting them to do so. After last week’s win, it would be an absolute killer for Seattle if they didn’t win in Tennessee.
(10-4) Detroit Lions @ Minnesota Vikings (7-7)
The Minnesota Vikings host the Detroit Lions in a big NFC North clash. The Minnesota Vikings lost in Cincinnati last time out and they currently sit second in the NFC North with an okay 7-7 record. As it stands, The Vikings are ranked 6th in the NFC. As for Detroit, they thrashed the Denver Broncos last Saturday Night, and if the season ended today, The Lions would win the NFC North with a good 10-4 record which would be enough for them to take the Number 3 seed heading into the Playoffs (on the NFC side of things). In terms of my Prediction, I’m going to back Detroit to beat Minnesota. The Lions are a better Football team than The Vikings, and also, Minnesota don’t seem to play particularly well at home.
(4-10) Washington Commanders @ New York Jets (5-9)
The New York Jets got stuffed 30-0 in Miami last weekend and they currently sit third in the AFC East with a really disappointing 5-9 record. As it stands, The Jets have already been ruled out of a Playoff appearance. As for Washington, they lost for the 5th-straight game last time out (against The Rams), and if the season ended today, The Commanders would finish bottom of the NFC East with a poor 4-8 record and they would ultimately end up as the third-worst team in the NFC. In terms of my Prediction, I think The Jets will win this one. Both teams want the season to end now and I’m going with The Jets simply because they’re at home.
(6-8) Green Bay Packers @ Carolina Panthers (2-12)
The Carolina Panthers actually won a game last time out (against the Atlanta Falcons), but they are still bottom of the NFC South with a pretty diabolical 2-12 record. As it stands, The Panthers have the worst record in the entire NFL. As for Green Bay, they suffered a disappointing loss at home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last weekend, and if the season ended today, finishing third in the NFC North with a 6-8 record would not be enough for them to make the Playoffs. In terms of my Prediction, I am going to go with The Packers to win this one. Despite what happened last week, it would feel slightly wrong to predict Carolina over Green Bay in this game.
