2023 NFL Week 15 Preview and Predictions: Part 2

(5-8) New York Giants @ New Orleans Saints (6-7)

The New Orleans Saints comfortably beat the Carolina Panthers last time out, but if the season ended today, being third in the NFC South with a 6-7 record would see them just miss out on a Playoff spot. As for New York, they picked up their third consecutive victory last Monday Night (against the Green Bay Packers) and they currently sit third in the NFC North with a not-great 5-8 record. As it stands, The Giants aren’t quite in Playoff contention. In terms of my Prediction, I do expect New Orleans to win this game. It will probably be quite close, but I have think The Saints will have enough to edge out The Giants.

(6-7) Atlanta Falcons @ Carolina Panthers (1-12)

The Carolina Panthers lost for the 6th straight game last time out (in New Orleans) and they currently sit bottom of the NFC South with a diabolical 1-12 record. As it stands, The Panthers are the worst team in the entire league. As for Atlanta, they suffered (what could be) a crucial loss at home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14, and if the season ended today, being second in the NFC South with a 6-7 record would see them miss out on the Playoffs. In terms of my Prediction, The Falcons will win this game. I think Carolina’s record speaks for itself really.

(8-5) Kansas City Chiefs @ New England Patriots (3-10)

The New England Patriots actually beat the Pittsburgh Steelers last Thursday Night, but they are still bottom of the AFC East with a pretty bad 3-10 record. If the season ended today, The Patriots would end up as the worst team in the AFC. As for Kansas City, they lost again last week (at home to the Buffalo Bills), and as it stands, The Chiefs lead the AFC West with an 8-5 record which also sees them occupying the Number 3 seed in the AFC. In terms of my Prediction, I expect The Chiefs to win this game. I have said that a lot about Kansas City this year (or any year for that matter), but I feel pretty confident about this being right considering they’re playing The Patriots.

(4-9) Washington Commanders @ Los Angeles Rams (6-7)

The Los Angeles Rams lost in Baltimore last weekend and they currently sit second in the NFC West with a mediocre 6-7 record. If the season ended today, The Rams would just miss out on a spot in the Playoffs. As for Washington, they enter Week 14 off the back of 4 losses and a Bye and they currently find themselves bottom of the NFC East with a poor 4-9 record. As it stands, The Commanders have the third-worst record in the NFC. In terms of my Prediction, I expect The Rams to win this one. It would be a massive slip-up for LA if they weren’t able to beat a struggling Washington (side) here.

(10-3) San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals (3-10)

The Arizona Cardinals are coming into Week 14 off the back of a victory and their Bye Week, but as it stands, The Cardinals are bottom of the NFC West with a 3-10 record which is good enough for them to be the second-worst team in the NFC. As for San Francisco, they beat the Seattle Seahawks last time out and they currently lead the NFC West with a really good 10-3 record. If the season ended today, The 49ers would take the Number 1 seed heading into the Playoffs (on the NFC side of things). In terms of my Predictions, I fully expect The 49ers to win this game. The Niners can’t slip up here, surely?

(10-3) Dallas Cowboys @ Buffalo Bills (7-6)

The Buffalo Bills won in Kansas City last weekend and they currently sit second in the AFC East with an okay 7-6 record. If the season ended today, The Bills would miss out on a Playoff spot. As for Dallas, they thrashed the Philadelphia Eagles last time out and they currently lead the NFC East with a really good 10-3 record (as a result). As it stands, The Cowboys occupy the Number 2 seed in the NFC. In terms of my Prediction, I think The Cowboys will win this one. Dallas are playing really good stuff right now and I think they’ll be just a little bit too much for Buffalo to handle.

(10-3) Baltimore Ravens @ Jacksonville Jaguars (8-5)

On Sunday Night Football, the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Baltimore Ravens in a game that could have serious implications on who takes the Number 1 seed in the AFC. The Jacksonville Jaguars lost in Cleveland last weekend, and as it stands, their 8-5 record is enough for them to lead the AFC South whilst also occupying the 4th seed in the AFC. As for Baltimore, they beat the LA Rams last time out and they currently lead the AFC North with a good 10-3 record. If the season ended today, The Ravens would take the Number 1 seed in the AFC. In terms of my Prediction, I’m going to back The Ravens. Baltimore are on a good run right now whilst The Jaguars are just starting to struggle a little bit.

(10-3) Philadelphia Eagles @ Seattle Seahawks (6-7)

The Seattle Seahawks host the Philadelphia Eagles in an important Monday Night Football clash. The Seattle Seahawks lost for the 4th-straight week last weekend (thanks to The 49ers) and if the season ended today, finishing third in the NFC West with a sub-par 6-7 record would see them miss out on the Playoffs. As for Philadelphia, they were thrashed for the second straight week last time out (this time by the Dallas Cowboys) and they now sit second in the NFC East with a 10-3 record. As it stands, The Eagles occupy the 5th seed in the NFC. In terms of my Prediction, I do believe The Eagles will win this game. This is a must-win game for both sides and I’m simply going with Philly because I think they’re a better team than Seattle.
