2023 NFL Week 10 Preview and Predictions: Part 1

Teams on a Bye Week:

Philadelphia Eagles (8-1)

Kansas City Chiefs (7-2)

Miami Dolphins (6-3)

Los Angeles Rams (3-6)

(1-7) Carolina Panthers @ Chicago Bears (2-7)

The Chicago Bears lost in New Orleans last week and they currently sit bottom of the NFC North with a pretty poor 2-7 record. As for Carolina, they lost at home against the Indianapolis Colts last time out and they are currently bottom of the NFC South with a really poor 1-7 record. In terms of my Prediction, I’ve got to say The Bears. These are arguably the two worst teams in the entire NFL, but Chicago should have enough to get the victory considering they’re at home.

(4-5) Indianapolis Colts @ New England Patriots (2-7)

Week 2 of NFL action in Frankfurt sees the New England Patriots take on the Indianapolis Colts. The New England Patriots lost at home against the Washington Commanders in Week 9 and they currently sit bottom of the AFC East with a terrible 2-7 record. As for Indianapolis, they picked up a win in Carolina last time out and they are currently third in the AFC South with a sub-par record of 4-5. In terms of my Prediction, I think The Colts will win this game. The reason for this is simply because The Patriots don’t deserve to get backed anymore.

(4-4) Houston Texans @ Cincinnati Bengals (5-3)

The Cincinnati Bengals extend their winning run to 4 games with a good victory in last week’s Sunday Night Football matchup with the Buffalo Bills, but The Bengals are still bottom of the AFC North with a 5-3 record. As for Houston, they pipped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a closely-fought 39-37 meeting and they currently sit second in the AFC South with a decent 4-4 record. In terms of my Prediction, I’ve got to go with The Bengals. I think this is quite an exciting-looking game, but I don’t think C. J. Stroud and the Houston Texans have enough to topple Cincinnati.

(5-4) New Orleans Saints @ Minnesota Vikings (5-4)

The Minnesota Vikings made it 4 wins on the bounce last week with a good victory in Atlanta and they are currently second in the NFC North with a decent 5-4 record. As for New Orleans, they beat the Chicago Bears last time out and they currently lead the NFC South as the only team with a positive record (5-4). In terms of my Prediction, I think Minnesota will win this game. The Vikings are playing really good stuff right now whilst The Saints are just a little bit too inconsistent to fully know what to expect from them.

(3-5) Green Bay Packers @ Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3)

The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Tennessee Titans in last week’s Thursday Night Football matchup and they are currently second in the AFC North with a good 5-3 record. As for Green Bay, they comfortably beat the LA Rams last time out and they currently sit third in the NFC North with a disappointing 3-5 record. In terms of my Prediction, I fully expect Pittsburgh to get the job done in this one. The Steelers should be way too good for The Packers in this one.

(3-5) Tennessee Titans @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost for the 4th consecutive game last time out (at the hands of the Houston Texans) and they are currently third in the NFC South with a disappointing 3-5 record. As for Tennessee, they lost in Pittsburgh last Thursday Night and they currently sit bottom of the AFC South with a record of just 3-5. In terms of my Prediction, I think The Titans will win this game. Neither team is particularly good, but I think there’s more upside with Tennessee than Tampa Bay.

(5-3) San Francisco 49ers @ Jacksonville Jaguars (6-2)

Both the Jacksonville Jaguars and the San Francisco 49ers enter this game knowing that this is a big test for both of them. The Jacksonville Jaguars were on a 5-game winning streak before last week’s Bye and they currently lead the AFC South with a really good 6-2 record. As for San Francisco, they were on a 3-game losing streak before last week’s Bye, but they are still leading the NFC West with a 5-3 record. In terms of my Prediction, I think The Jags will win this game. Whilst the Week 9 Bye certainly helped The 49ers more than The Jaguars, I don’t think that changes the fact that The Jaguars are the better team right now.
