Manchester City kept their cool to deliver a historic 4th-straight Premier League Title! After just 69 seconds, Manchester City were off to the perfect start as Phil Foden fired home as his incredible season continued! In the 18th minute, it was 2-0 to Man City as Foden scored again after a really nicely worked goal! In the 42nd minute, West Ham did manage to grab one back courtesy of an outrageous overhead kick by Mohammed Kudus! In the 59th minute, City’s 2-goal lead was restored as Rodri did what he always does and that’s score in the most crucial of games! Erling Haaland then had a really good chance which he guided just wide before Tomas Soucek had a goal ruled out for a clear handball. Overall, it’s a special day for Manchester City who secured a record-breaking 4th-straight Premier League Title! City end the season as Champions (again) and they will now turn their attention to the FA Cup Final against Manchester United. As for West Ham United, it’s the end of an era for them with David Moyes departing. The Hammers finish 9th and they can be pleased heading into next season!

Arsenal 2-1 Everton

Arsenal managed to get the job done against Everton, but their wait for another Premier League Title continues! Declan Rice had a decent chance which was saved by Jordan Pickford before Pickford pulled out a really good save to deny Gabriel Martinelli. Dominic Calvert-Lewin then came close as he hit the post before Everton had the lead in the 40th minute thanks to an Idrissa Gana Gueye free-kick! To be fair, this did take a massive deflection off Declan Rice. Just 3 minutes later though and Arsenal were level thanks to a nice finish from Takehiro Tomiyasu. In the Second Half, David Raya made a decent save to deny Calvert-Lewin from putting the visitors in front before Kai Havertz headed the ball onto the post! Martin Odegaard then had a great chance which he failed to take before Emile Smith Rowe hit the bar for the hosts. And then, in the 89th minute, Arsenal were able to get in front courtesy of Kai Havertz! It is worth mentioning that there was a handball in here, and whilst it would’ve been harsh to have disallowed the goal, this shows a real lack of consistency with these referees. Overall, it’s a win for Arsenal, but it’s ultimately a day that will hurt for a while. The Gunners end up finishing second and they have to keep pushing to try and go one step further next year! As for Everton, they did alright here! The Toffees finish 15th in the table which is a respectable effort from them.

Liverpool 2-0 Wolves

Jurgen Klopp’s final farewell to Liverpool ended with a 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers. Both Jose Sa and Alisson made decent saves in the same move before Nelson Semedo was sent off for a tough tackle on Alexis Mac Allister. In the 34th minute, Liverpool did finally have the lead as Alexis Mac Allister headed home nicely! Just 6 minutes later and Liverpool’s lead doubled as Jarell Quansah managed to find the back of the net! In the Second Half, Luis Diaz missed an absolute sitter from close about 3 yards out before Jose Sa made a good save to deny Cody Gakpo. Mohamed Salah then attempted to get his name on the scoresheet, but he was denied by a fabulous Sa save! Overall, it’s a positive end to what’s been a terrific era for Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp! The Reds finish third in the league and their attention will now turn to trying to be successful under new manager Arne Slot! As for Wolverhampton Wanderers, they didn’t do much here! Wolves ultimately end up finishing 14th in the table, but that’s still pretty good given where most expected them to be at the start of the year!

Luton 2-4 Fulham

A loss for Luton Town finally confirmed their Relegation down to the Championship! Bernd Leno made a great save to keep Carlton Morris from giving Luton the lead early on before Elijah Adebayo had a good chance which he struck straight at Leno. In the 43rd minute, it was Fulham who took the lead courtesy of a great strike from Adama Traore! Quickly after, Luton were awarded a penalty after Calvin Bassey fouled Chiedozie Ogbene, and it was Carlton Morris who stepped up and scored to make it 1-1 in additional time! However, Raul Jimenez then managed to score in the third minute of additional time before Jimenez scored again to make it 3-1 after just 4 minutes of action in the Second Half! In the 55th minute, Luton had one back as Alfie Doughty managed to score from a free kick before Harry Wilson smashed the woodwork for the visitors! However, in the 68th minute, Wilson was able to score a lovely goal to make it 4-2 to Fulham! In the end, Luton Town are now officially relegated back to the Championship! Still, The Hatters can be proud of their efforts this year! As for Fulham, this is a nice way for them to end their season. The Cottagers finish 13th in the league and they will look for more next year!

Burnley 1-2 Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest managed to beat Burnley to confirm their place in the Premier League for at least another year! After just 2 minutes, Nottingham Forest had the lead as Chris Wood tapped home after a wonderful ball across by Anthony Elanga. 12 minutes later and it was 2-0 to Forest as Chris Wood managed to score again! Zeki Amdouni then had an unbelievable chance which he shockingly blazed over before Amdouni had another good chance which he dragged wide! In the 72nd minute, Burnley were able to get one back as Josh Cullen’s effort took a massive deflection before finding the back of the net! Wilson Odobert then had a good chance to grab an equaliser for the hosts, but he managed to guide his effort just wide. In the end, this game about sums up Burnley’s season! The Clarets will now need to rethink things as they attempt to earn back Promotion straight away! As for Nottingham Forest, congrats to them on staying in the Prem for another season! Forest end up finishing 17th and they’ll be hoping for more in 2025.

Chelsea 2-1 Bournemouth

Credit: We Ain't Got No History

Chelsea got over the line against AFC Bournemouth to book their ticket to Europe next season! Neto did a decent job to stop Nicolas Jackson from giving Chelsea the lead, but a sort-of mistake by Neto led to Moises Caicedo scoring from the halfway line to give Chelsea the lead inside 17 minutes! Ryan Christie then clipped the crossbar for Bournemouth before Raheem Sterling scored to double Chelsea’s lead 3 minutes into the Second Half. However, just a minute later and it was 2-1 as Benoit Badiashile scored an own goal! Bournemouth then had a golden chance which eventually fell to Dominic Solanke, but he poorly blasted the ball over! Overall, it’s another win for Chelsea as they secure European Football! The Blues finish 6th and they will hope this end-of-season form will translate into success next season! As for AFC Bournemouth, they could’ve got something from this game! The Cherries ultimately finish 12th after what’s been a really positive first year under Andoni Iraola.

Brentford 2-4 Newcastle

Credit: Sky Sports

Newcastle United got past Brentford to ensure a second-successive Top 7 finish! Joelinton had an amazing chance which he poorly put wide early on before Harvey Barnes headed Newcastle in front after 21 minutes! After a mistake by Brentford, Alexander Isak played a terrific pass which allowed Jacob Murphy to make it 2-0 after 36 before Isak made it 3-0 just 2 minutes later! 3 minutes into the Second Half and Brentford had one back through Vitaly Janelt (this was a nice team goal) before Yoane Wissa scored a fantastic goal to make it 3-2 after 70. However, in the 77th minute, Bruno Guimaraes tapped home on the rebound to secure all 3 points for the visitors! In the end, it’s a disappointing day in what’s been a disappointing season for Brentford. The Bees end up 16th in the table and they will need to improve next year! As for Newcastle United, they’ve done all they can to get into Europe next year! The Magpies finish 7th in the league and they will have their eyes firmly on next weekend’s FA Cup Final.

Sheffield United 0-3 Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur cruised past Relegated Sheffield United to secure an impressive Top 5 Finish! Ben Brereton Diaz had a good chance which he blasted over the bar before Dejan Kulusevski finished well to give Tottenham the lead after 14 minutes. I have to say, Jayden Bogle does absolutely appallingly here! Rodrigo Bentancur then hit the post for Tottenham before Pedro Porro smashed home to double the visitors' lead in the 59th! And in the 65th minute, it was 3-0 to Spurs as Dejan Kulusevski found the back of the net for the second time! In the end, it’s the end of what has been a pretty dismal season for Sheffield United. The Blades finish bottom of the league and they will be hoping for a much better year in the Championship. As for Tottenham Hotspur, they can be happy with this result! Spurs finish 5th and I think that’s a good first season for Ange Postecoglou.

Brighton 0-2 Manchester United

Manchester United ended their league season with a win as Roberto De Zerbi said farewell to Brighton and Hove Albion. Valentin Barco had a good opportunity which was saved well by Andre Onana before Adam Webster had a really good opportunity which he poorly headed off target! In the Second Half, Casemiro pulled out a wonderful goal-line block to deny Joao Pedro and keep it at 0-0 before Manchester United had the lead in the 73rd minute through Diogo Dalot! And in the 88th minute, Rasmus Hojlund scored a nice solo goal to wrap up the win for United! In the end, I have no idea how Brighton and Hove Albion have lost this game! Brighton ultimately finish 11th and will look to build on what’s been a successful two years under Roberto De Zerbi. As for Manchester United, it’s all about this Saturday for them now! United finish 8th in the league and they take on Manchester City in the FA Cup Final next time out!
