Luton VS Tottenham
Luton’s first appearance on TNT Sports promises to be a tough one as they welcome Tottenham to Kenilworth Road. Luton picked up a huge 2-1 win at Everton last weekend, but they then lost 2-1 at home to Burnley on Tuesday and they currently sit 17th in the table. Tottenham controversially beat Liverpool 2-1 last time out and they are currently second in the league. This will be the first meeting between these two sides since 1992 and Luton haven’t beaten Spurs since 1987. For Luton Town, they’ll do well to get anything from this game. The Hatters are ranked 15th in GPG (0.9) and 16th in GCPG (2.0). As for Tottenham Hotspur, they have the opportunity to go top of the league before the rest of the big hitters play later in the weekend. Spurs are ranked 4th in GPG (2.4) and they currently have the third best away record in the league.
My Prediction: 1-3
Burnley VS Chelsea
Burnley lost 2-0 at Newcastle last weekend before they pulled out a crucial 2-1 victory away to Luton midweek. However, Burnley are still currently inside the Relegation Zone (18th). Chelsea picked up a good 2-0 win away to Fulham in their last game and they are now 11th in the table. In their previous 14 meetings, Burnley have won just one game whilst Chelsea have won 9. That win for Burnley came at Stamford Bridge back in 2017. For Burnley, they’ll be looking to build on a positive win midweek. The Clarets are ranked 15th in GPG (0.9) and they currently have the worst home record in the league (4 losses out of 4). As for Chelsea, this is a good chance for them to make it 3 wins on the bounce. The Blues are ranked 12th in GPG (1.0) and 2nd in GCPG (0.9).
My Prediction: 1-1
Everton VS Bournemouth
Everton welcome Bournemouth to Goodison Park in a huge game for both sides. Everton suffered a really poor loss at home to Luton last week and they currently sit 16th in the table. Bournemouth were thrashed 4-0 at home by Arsenal last time out and they are currently 19th in the league. In their previous 14 meetings, both sides have won 6 games. For Everton, they cannot afford to come away from this game with anything other than the 3 points. The Toffees are ranked 15th in GPG (0.9) and they currently have the second-worst home record in the league (4 losses out of 4). As for AFC Bournemouth, they need to get a win on the board heading into the International Break. The Cherries are ranked 18th in GPG (0.7) and they are still without a win in the league under Andoni Iraola.
My Prediction: 1-1
Fulham VS Sheffield United
Fulham lost 2-0 at home to Chelsea in last week’s Monday Night Football and they currently sit 13th in the table. Sheffield United lost 2-0 at West Ham last time out and they are currently bottom of the league. In their previous 9 meetings, Fulham have won 44% of the time whilst Sheffield U have won 33% of the time. For Fulham, they’ll be expecting to get back to winning ways here. The Cottagers are ranked 18th in GPG (0.7) and nobody’s conceded more penalties than them in the league this season (3). As for Sheffield United, they need to pull out a result from somewhere. The Blades are also ranked 18th in GPG (0.7) and they currently have the worst away record in the league (3 losses out of 3).
My Prediction: 2-0
Manchester United VS Brentford
Manchester United host Brentford in a game where both sides are desperate for a victory. Manchester United suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss at home to Crystal Palace last week before they were stunned by Galatasaray midweek in the Champions League. Man United are currently 10th in the league. Brentford drew 1-all with Nottingham Forest in their last game and they currently sit 14th in the table. The Bees are ranked 9th in GPG (1.4) and they haven’t won a game (in 90 minutes) in any of their last 7 matches (in all competitions).
My Prediction: 3-1
Crystal Palace VS Nottingham Forest
Crystal Palace pulled out a great 1-0 win at Manchester United last week and they are currently 9th in the league. Nottingham Forest drew 1-1 with Brentford last time out and they currently sit 12th in the table. In their previous 8 meetings, Palace have only won once whilst Notts Forest have won 4 times. That win for Crystal Palace came back in 2011 (in the Championship). For Crystal Palace, they’ll be aiming to continue their positive start to the season. The Eagles are ranked 12th in GPG (1.0) and nobody’s kept more Clean Sheets than them in the league this season (3). As for Nottingham Forest, a win here would be enough for them to move above their opponents in the table. Forest are ranked 10th in GPG (1.1) and they currently have the 5th worst away record in the league.
My Prediction: 2-1
Brighton VS Liverpool
Brighton welcome Liverpool to the AMEX for what should be a really exciting game. Brighton were smashed 6-1 by Aston Villa last weekend before they picked up a decent point at Marseille in the Europa League last night. Brighton currently sit 6th in the table. Liverpool suffered a harsh 2-1 defeat at Tottenham in their last league game before they beat Union St. Gilloise 2-0 n the Europa League last night. Liverpool are 4th in the league right now. In their previous 15 meetings, Brighton have won 20% of the time whilst Liverpool have won 60% of the time. Two of those three wins for Brighton came earlier this year (both in January). For Brighton and Hove Albion, this feels like a big game for them. The Seagulls are ranked 1st in GPG (2.7) and they are still yet to keep a Clean Sheet in any game this season. As for Liverpool, they’ll want to get straight back to winning ways in the league on Sunday. The Reds are ranked 6th in GPG (2.3) and they currently have the 4th best away record in the league.
My Prediction: 3-2
West Ham VS Newcastle
In another exciting Premier League clash on Sunday, West Ham host Newcastle at the London Stadium. West Ham beat Sheffield United 2-0 last week and Freiburg 2-1 in the Europa League last night and they are currently 7th in the league. Newcastle beat Burnley 2-0 before they thrashed PSG 4-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday and they currently sit 8th in the table. In their previous 22 meetings, West Ham have won 6 times whilst Newcastle have won 11 times. For West Ham United, this game is going to tell us a lot about their ambitions for this season. The Hammers are ranked 8th in both GPG (1.9) and GCPG (1.4). As for Newcastle United, they’ll be looking to keep up their really positive run of results. The Magpies are ranked 2nd in GPG (2.6) and they are currently on a 4-game winning streak (with a total aggregate score of 15-1).

My Prediction: 2-5
Arsenal VS Manchester City
Arsenal host Manchester City in what is probably the biggest game of the season so far. Arsenal thrashed Bournemouth 4-0 in the league last weekend, but they then suffered a disappointing 2-1 loss at Lens in the Champions League midweek. Arsenal are currently third in the league. Manchester City’s perfect start to the Premier League season ended with a 2-1 loss at Wolves last weekend before they bounced back with a 3-1 win at RB Leipzig on Wednesday. Man City are still top of the league (despite that loss). In their previous 34 meetings, Arsenal have won 7 times whilst Man City have won 20 times. City have amazingly won all of the last 12 meetings between the two sides in the league. For Arsenal, this is a massive, massive game for them. The Gunners are ranked 7th in GPG (2.1) and nobody’s been awarded more penalties than them in the league this season (5).
