Newcastle host Tottenham in an important game for both sides. Newcastle won 1-0 at Fulham last weekend and they currently sit 8th in the table. When it comes to Tottenham, they beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 last time out and they are currently 4th in the league. In their previous 26 games, Newcastle have won 8 games compared to Spurs’ 14. For Newcastle United, they have to take advantage of being the home team. The Magpies are ranked 5th in GPG (2.1) and they currently have the 6th-best home record in the league. As for Tottenham Hotspur, this is a really big test for them. Spurs are (also) ranked 5th in GPG (2.1) and they also currently have the 5th-best away record in the league.

My Prediction: 3-1

Brentford VS Sheffield United

Brentford drew 3-3 at Aston Villa last weekend and they currently sit 15th in the table. When it comes to Sheffield United, they drew 2-2 last time out against Chelsea and they are still currently bottom of the league. The Blades are ranked 20th in GPG (1.0) and they currently have the worst away record in the league.

My Prediction: 2-2

When it comes to Luton, they managed to beat Bournemouth 2-1 last time out, but they are still currently inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th place). In their previous 2 meetings, Man City have won them both. In fact, you have to go back to 1988 for the last time Luton beat City. For Manchester City, you’d expect them to win this game comfortably, but they cannot afford to become complacent. City are ranked 3rd in GPG (2.3) and they’re currently on a 26-game unbeaten run in all competitions (21W,5D). As for Luton Town, they’re going to need to pull off something special if they want to get anything from this game. The Hammers are ranked 8th in GPG (1.6) and they currently have the 11th-best home record in the league. As for Fulham, they need to pluck out a win from somewhere. The Cottagers are ranked 10th in GPG (1.5), but they currently have the 5th-worst away record in the league.

My Prediction: 2-0

Arsenal host Aston Villa in a really exciting Super Sunday Clash! Arsenal won 3-0 at Brighton last weekend before they drew 2-2 with Bayern Munich midweek and they are currently top of the league. When it comes to Aston Villa, they drew 3-3 with Brentford followed by a 2-1 win over Lille over the past week and they currently sit 5th in the table.
