Newcastle VS West Ham

Newcastle welcome West Ham to St. James’ Park for a clash which could have big European implications. Newcastle lost 3-2 at Chelsea in their last league game before they lost 2-0 at Manchester City (in the FA Cup) and they currently sit 10th in the table. When it comes to West Ham, they drew 1-1 with Aston Villa last time out and they are currently 7th in the league. In their previous 23 meetings, Newcastle have won 11 games compared to West Ham’s 6. For Newcastle United, they need to win this game. The Magpies are ranked 5th in GPG (2.1) and they currently have the 6th-best home record in the league. As for West Ham United, this is a big test for them. The Hammers are ranked 9th in GPG (1.6) and they currently have the 7th-best away record in the league.

Bournemouth VS Everton

When it comes to Everton, they lost 2-0 at Manchester United three weeks ago and they currently sit 16th in the table. In their previous 15 meetings, Bournemouth have won 6 times whilst Everton have won 7 times. For AFC Bournemouth, they should really be winning this game. The Cherries are ranked 12th in GPG (1.5) and they currently have the 13th-best home record in the league. As for Everton, they need to start winning Football matches again. The Toffees are ranked 18th in GPG (1.0) and they’re currently on an 11-game winless run in the league (5D,6L).

Chelsea VS Burnley

When it comes to Burnley, they managed to beat Brentford 2-1 last time out, but they are still currently inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th). In their previous 15 meetings, Chelsea have won 10 times whilst Burnley have only won once. For Chelsea, you’d expect them to win this game rather comfortably. The Blues are ranked 8th in GPG (1.7) and they’re currently on a 4-game unbeaten run in all competitions (3W,1D). As for Burnley, they’ll need to be at their best to get something from this game. The Clarets are ranked 18th in GPG (1.0) and they currently have the second-worst away record in the league.

Nottingham Forest VS Crystal Palace

Nottingham Forest host Crystal Palace in a big game for both sides. Nottingham Forest drew 1-1 at Luton last time out and they currently find themselves inside the Relegation Zone (18th) due to being handed a 4-point penalty. When it comes to Crystal Palace, they also drew 1-1 with Luton in their last game and they currently sit 14th in the table. When it comes to Fulham, they thrashed Tottenham 3-0 before the International Break and they currently sit 12th in the table. In their previous 10 meetings, Sheffield U have won 30% of the time whilst Fulham have won 50% of the time. For Sheffield United, they need to start winning and fast. The Blades are ranked 20th in GPG (0.9) and they currently have the worst home record in the league. As for Fulham, this is a good opportunity for them to keep their good run of form going. Tottenham VS Luton

Tottenham were thrashed 3-0 by Fulham before the International Break and they currently find themselves 5th in the league. When it comes to Luton, they scored late to draw 1-1 with Nottingham Forest last time out and they currently sit 17th in the table. Spurs won the reverse fixture earlier in the season 1-0. For Tottenham Hotspur, they need to bounce back here with a big win. Spurs are ranked 5th in GPG (2.1) and they also currently have the 5th-best home record in the league. As for Luton Town, they’ll take anything from this game. The Hatters are ranked 13th in GPG (1.4), but they’re currently on a 9-game winless run in all competitions (3D,6L).

Aston Villa VS Wolves

Local Rivals collide as Aston Villa host Wolves in this weekend’s Saturday Night Football! Aston Villa drew 1-1 at West Ham last time out and they currently find themselves 4th in the league. When it comes to Wolves, they beat Fulham 2-1 in their last league game before they suffered a disappointing FA Cup loss against Coventry before the International Break. Wolves currently sit 9th in the table. In their previous 18 meetings, Villa have won 5 games compared to 8 wins for Wolves. It’s worth noting that Villa haven’t managed to beat Wolves since December 2020. For Aston Villa, they need to make sure that they win this game. Villa are ranked 4th in GPG (2.1) and they also currently have the 4th-best home record in the league. As for Wolverhampton Wanderers, this is a massive game for them. Wolves are ranked 11th in GPG (1.5) and they also currently have the 11th-best away record in the league.

Brentford VS Manchester United

When it comes to Manchester United, they beat Everton 2-0 (in the league) and Liverpool 4-3 (in the Cup) before the International Break and they are currently 6th in the league. In their previous 5 meetings, Brentford have won 20% of the time compared to Man U’s 80%. For Brentford, they’re in trouble right now. The Bees are ranked 14th in GPG (1.4) and they’re currently on a 6-game winless run (1D,5L). As for Manchester United, they should win this game. Liverpool VS Brighton

Liverpool drew 1-1 with Manchester City in their last league game before they beat Sparta Praha 6-1 (in the Europa League) and lost 4-3 against Manchester United (in the FA Cup). Liverpool are currently second in the league. When it comes to Brighton, they beat both Nottingham Forest and Roma 1-0 before the International Break and they currently sit 8th in the table. In their previous 16 meetings, Liverpool have won 9 games compared to Brighton’s 3. For Liverpool, they should realistically win this game quite comfortably. The Reds are ranked 2nd in GPG (2.3) and they currently have the best home record in the league. As for Brighton and Hove Albion, they need to perfect if they want to get a result from this game. The Seagulls are ranked 7th in GPG (1.8), but they haven’t scored in any of their last 3 away games (in all competitions).

Manchester City VS Arsenal

Manchester City welcome Title Rivals Arsenal to the Etihad for one of the biggest games of the season. Manchester City drew 1-1 at Liverpool in their last league game before they beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup and they currently sit third in the table. When it comes to Arsenal, they beat Brentford 2-1 a few weeks ago before they knocked Porto out of the Champions League (on penalties) and they are currently top of the league. In their previous 35 meetings, Man City have won 20 games compared to Arsenal’s 8. For Manchester City, it’s time for them to do what they do best, and that’s win! City are ranked 3rd in GPG (2.3) and they’re currently on a 22-game unbeaten run in all competitions (19W,3D). As for Arsenal, what a huge test this is for them. The Gunners are ranked 1st in GPG (2.5) and they're currently on an 8-game winning run in the league (with a total aggregate score of 33-4).
