Aston Villa VS Sheffield United

Aston Villa picked up another really good win at Brentford last weekend and they currently find themselves third in the league. When it comes to Sheffield United, they lost 2-0 at Chelsea last time out and they currently sit bottom of the table. In their previous 10 meetings, Villa have won 3 times whilst Sheffield U have won 4 times. Each of the last four meetings have seen at least one team keep a Clean Sheet. For Aston Villa, they absolutely should be winning this game comfortably. Villa are ranked 2nd in GPG (2.2) and they’re currently on a 15-game winning streak at home in the league. As for Sheffield United, they’re going to need a Christmas miracle if they are to get anything from this game. My Prediction: 3-0

West Ham VS Manchester United

West Ham cruised past Wolves (3-0) in their last league game before they got absolutely thrashed by Liverpool (5-1) in the Carabao Cup last night. West Ham are currently 8th in the league. When it comes to Manchester United, they drew nil-nil at Liverpool last time out and they currently sit 7th in the table. In their previous 33 meetings, West Ham have only won 6 games compared to Man United’s 19. For West Ham United, a win here would guarantee them a spot in the Top 7 at Christmas. The Hammers are ranked 8th in GPG (1.7) and they currently have the 10th-best home record in the league. As for Manchester United, they really need to start scoring again. United are ranked 15th in GPG (1.1) and they haven’t scored in any of their last 3 matches.

The Toffees are ranked 12th in GPG (1.3) and they’re currently on a 4-game winning streak in the league (without conceding a goal).
